What Are You Reading Now? Pt 2.

As a matter of fact, yes I do! ; }

I remembered from the thousand or so times you've mentioned it... I'm not judging though. We all have our King character crushes. Mine's Holly.

I agree, UtD completely lost itself after season one.

I am on the last book of this series.
This is a great series.

I loved NOS4A2 too, and you can't go wrong with The Shining. Ever.

I loved all the little references to the King universe in NOS4A2 too....

Have you read anything else by Joe Hill?

Yes I've also read The Fireman which I thought was really good! What about you?

I've read most of his releases except his current one.

Congrats! It's lovely to read a book you haven't, almost certain you will like, if not love, it!

Thank you! I'm super excited!

I love it! I know not everyone does, but it's so sincerely a quest, and King writes so well from the POV of a child. I'm not sure about Straub's contributions. It's pretty seamless.

I'm excited to read it! I'll be keeping a sharp eye out for those Dark Tower references too. 👀

I gave it five stars, didn't write a detailed review, but I remember liking it a lot.

I'm about a fifth of the way into now. Really enjoying it so far!

I loved that book, if you can really say that about something that left you breathless and on the verge of sobs at times, and wait until you meet Honeysuckle!

Welcome, Joey. Glad you're here. I think Strange Weather is a really great book... enjoy it.

Welcome Joey and I hope you enjoy Strange Weather.

I read that book long before I was old enough to do so. I thought that the reason he referred to the streets as letters was to protect the place it really happened! I had never seen streets names after letters. It made it very, very real to me at the time.

Letters for street names is fairly common in smaller towns or rural areas. My grandpa used to live on B 1/2 road lol

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Historical fiction read about Ancient Egypt?
Thanks.

Yeah, I know that NOW! ;-P

King's books, and Joe Hill's books, work better as a mini-series.
