I hope you love it! I certainly did."
I like it so far.
I'm currently reading, 'The Art of Eating Through the Zombie Apocalypse: A Cookbook and Culinary Survival Guide.' Book is super detailed and just a fun read.
Having a bit of a horror graphic stories kick, so after just reading the first 2 Locke & Key volumes, I am now on Shiver by Junji Ito.

I'm reading it with an open mind, I knew it was going to be about him going into it. I do wish she would write another prequel on other aspects of the world, though.
Erin wrote: "I'm reading it with an open mind, I knew it was going to be abou..."I also knew it was about him, but I liked the parts that included the Hunger Games so much more than the parts that are just about him.

Overall, I didn't mind the story about him but I thought the plot was pretty over bloated. His part could have easily been told in a novella. Maybe doing a novella based book with a few different stories of different aspects of the Hunger Games would have been better. I for one would love to know the history of Panem and how it came to be. We got hint of that in the original books and also in this one but no clear explanation.

The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi, Black Mad Wheel by Josh Malerman and The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream by Barack Obama. Very eclectic mix to say the least.
Yesterday I started The Outsider. The first part is good, with a good pace, a wonderful investigation part and some initial twists. I hope it will be the same with the next parts. :)

A Confederacy of Duncesby John Kennedy Toole,
Walker Percy (Foreword)
I am only 50 pages in, but I don't think I will finish it. I'm give it another ten to twenty pages.
I'm reading Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. I'm a third of the way through and still don't know if it's supposed to be a scary book or just a moody one, but I love the writing.
After I finished The Outsider, today I started Harleen, a comic book that attracted me for the subject, but also for the artwork.
Next I'm reading a nonfiction book. Chin: The Life and Crimes of Mafia Boss Vincent Gigante by Larry McShane
I am reading Somebody That I used To Know by David Bell really well written an very good next is The Birthing House by Christopher Random then If It Bleeds by Stephen King and the last for the week is The 19th Christmas by James Patterson so I am really excited about all 4

I have one called "Phantoms" by him in my tbr pile now.
Finally finished Words of Radiance by Sanderson. Time to take a break from immense novels and trilogies. Bring on Stephen King’s If it Bleeds.

Derrick wrote: "Finished my nonfiction mafia book. Loved it! Next I'm reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill" I really liked NOS4A2 the book; the TV adaptation not that much. Though I stuck with it till the end.

I liked the show well enough even though I think there were some issues with it. Had it came back, I would have still watched it.
