I read Fight Club a while back. It's great.

I read Fight..."
It’s difficult to not think about the movie while reading. It’s been years since I saw the movie. It’s a hard movie to forget.

I'll probably feel the same way on my next one:
Shutter Island
Charles wrote: "I really enjoyed "Shutter Island" it wasn't as good as "Mystic River" but definitely a worthy read."I agree! I read the former first, then the latter. I never saw the movie Mystic River but that book blew me away!!! I almost stayed up late to finish it. It was about more than a murder mystery. It was about loyalty, friendship, karma, and how far you go to protect people you love. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
I like the casting of the movie even though I haven't seen it.
Abby wrote: "Shutter Island is one of my favorites. I felt like the movie did it justice as well!"I thought so too, and I love Leonardo DiCaprio anyway. Great casting! I saw the movie years before I read the book, as it took me so long to get around to reading it. The movie left me wanting me more, as it was kind of short!
A rare case of a movie sticking pretty close to the book. :-)

It's worth reading the book even if you have already seen the movie.
Yesterday I started Before They Are Hanged, second book of the series. I liked the first and so far, it's the same with this one.
I enjoyed the first book in both the necroscope and the expanse series. I’m doing an expanse challenge in another group this year as well.

I finished Memoir from Ant Proof Case last night. So, I have the following going:Name of the Wind
Sing Unburied Sing
The Fireman
Hemingway Selected Letters

Wrapping up Doctor Sleep this weekend (just hit 75%), then I’m moving onto The Silent Patient (by Alex Michaelides). I’ve heard fairly good things, so I figured I’d give it a shot.
I'm reading my own new novel, Slipping Into the Green, YA, time travel, and high school football. If anyone wants a free e-book or paperback, message me. No need to review it, just a souvenir.
Jen_Ken wrote: "Paperbook would be nice are they available for purchase on eBay?"Hey Ken, the offer was to GIVE you a copy. So friend me, message me and tell me your address so I can send it to you. OR

Hello Nick, how would I go about messaging you. On your profile there isn't an option for friending, or messaging, and I would like to take you up on your offer.

I'm really excited; I'm playing this bingo games reading challenge and now I can get a box. Interestingly I have a choice between two boxes. New author that I have not read YET. Or something from 2020, which this number 2020 is so cool. 2020 what's on your bucket list? Or 2020 what's your 20?Was the dark of the moon on the sixth of June

Just finished My Two Italies, a memoir from a professor who shares my Italian Heritage. Factual, personal, confused, heartwarming, not for everyone unless you happen to be Italian-American and are as confused about it as the rest of us. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
