Started Daisy Jones & The Six today after reading a book riot article on how it was inspired by Fleetwood Mac. Anyone read this last year?
I didn't fully appreciate The Turn of The Screw until the very end. A book that went from mediocre to great in an instant.

After I finished The Mysterious Affair at Styles, today I started The Murder on the Links, another adventure of the great detective born from the pen of Agatha Christie.

Just started "Gwendy's Magic Feather" by Richard Chizmar, not impressed so far. Just finished "The Loney," by Andrew Michael Hurley, which I loved.
Don wrote: "Nearly finished NOS4A2 by Joe Hill which is absolutely brilliant."Yes, great book. TV series is pretty good too.
Jon wrote: "Check out this book on Goodreads: Horns http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/87..."I love Joe Hill, but wasn't crazy about Horns. It was better the second time I read it though. Movie version was dreadful.

I bought it 3 years ago at Half Price Books. I saw it on their shelf. I just checked and Amazon and Barnes and Noble sell it (some physical stores in my area have it).
I just checked and my library actually has it. Maybe you can make a request and the library will do an inter library loan. Twice I have done that and one book came from North Carolina and another Wisconsin. You never know.
I'm currently reading Sword of Destiny, another good collection of story about "The Witcher" character.

My library is a part of a network for only other local libraries, not out of state. I did a search in their network but no one seems to have it.

That’s too bad.
I started "Memoir from Antproof Case" by Mark Helprin.I just finished "Horrorstor" by Grady Hendrix. Super fast read and fun.
Still working through the skeleton crew, stuck in Carrie, really don’t like her mother, she’s a hard character to read through.
Finished The Institute, (amazing book!) still reading Words of Radiance by Sanderson and probably will start The Passage, a re-read because I could not make sense of The Twelve by Cronin.
I so agree with the assessment of Carrie’s mom. She would really not like me. Dam I'm the devil to her. But I am one nice person generally speaking. Do I get frustrated; yes I do. Do I feel pain from the discrimination I get: yes. If I every unintentionally offend you: was never my intent and for that I am sorry. I am also volunteering my time with the community outreach group at the hospital I just was treated horribly with my gender identity so no one will ever go through what I just went through. OMG that was not good.
LOL. 😭 on a positive note. I hate a very good friend that is an awesome ER nurse and one of the things she does well is that she needs to understand how a patient feels in order to help them. So her and I have been talking and I have been educating her of what’s IT’s like to be like me. So she was able to use this knowledge in treating a transgender patient that was suicidal and help thus person live....
Yesterday, I started Nemesis Games, another chapter in "The Expanse" series. Not bad, maybe this one will switch on again my interest in the series.
