I just finished Crisis in the Red Zone by Richard Preston and Doctor Sleep by you know who. I'm trying to decide between Imaginary Friend and Gwendy's Magic feather for my next read.
I finished Oathbringer, always a good reading from Sanderson, but the the number of books planned makes the whole story too long. Now I'm reading The Blade Itself and The Crane War.
Charles wrote: "I'm reading "Love In The Time of Cholera""One of my favorite books, just a beautiful read.
Atl wrote: "I was gonna read gingerbread for a Facebook group I got expelled out of. Never bought it."You have to get the hard copy. It's not out in paperback yet. The audiobook is read by the author. She has a wonderful voice. But she mumbles a little and that makes the story even harder to follow.
I finished the wife between us and now I’m listening to the woman in the window and still reading the shining.
"The Shrinking Man".... I'm assuming the inspiration behind the film, "Honey I Shrunk the Kids".... but just guessing. Nevertheless, I've decided I want to wake up tomorrow and find myself an eight of an inch tall. I could use a change of scenery and a little solitude.... I would also like to experience what it's like to be hunted by a spider, who with my new point of view, would be the size of a dinosaur. A spider's revenge on the imprudent human. Roles reversed. God's cruel joke....

Nevertheless, I've decided I want to wake up tomorrow and find myself an eight..."If you are talking about the Richard Matheson book, The Shrinking Man, this is the movie:

The Incredible Shrinking Man and then The Incredible Shrinking Woman.

Although ive never heard of The Incredible Shrinking Woman. Same concept?

But you said you assumed the book you were reading was the inspiration for Honey I shrunk the Kids and it wasn’t. The 1957 movie was the movie based on Matheson’s book (if that is the book you are reading which I am assuming is the book you are reading).
And yes, The Incredible Shrinking Woman is the same concept since it is also based on Matheson’s book.
As of now, I’m currently reading The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman and Saga: Compendium One by Brian K. Vaughan and art by Fiona Staples
How long did it take you to finish the book? It is totally on my to-read list. I need to work out out how long I am going to take in reading it/
I just started In The Heart of the Fire by Dean Koontz. It's a short read but it's crazy from the get go. It's also a series.
Happy New year to my favourite gr group, I've never made a new year's resolution but I must make more effort to check in with gr I kind of lost the plot last year, first book of the year is Lethal white by Robert Galbraith
