I enjoyed the first book.

message 7216: by Alondra (new)

Alondra Miller Reading: Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1) by Leigh Bardugo , which is really good. I already have book 2 waiting in the wings.

The Walking by Bentley Little . I am not yet sure if these are actual zombies or they are under some type of hypnosis or control?? I like it and not for pure excitement. It's actually interesting.

On Deck: Actually picking up a few graphic novels, like - Monstress, Vol. 1 Awakening by Marjorie M. Liu , 30 Days of Night, Vol. 8 Spreading the Disease by Dan Wickline , The Hedge Knight II Sworn Sword (The Tales of Dunk and Egg, #2) by Ben Avery and a few others. :)

Glen | 229 comments Reading John Connolly’s Charlie Parker series book 8 I believe, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... as well as about half way through the intimidating but, amazing Brandon Sanderson Stormlight Archive series book 2 Words of Radiance.

I liked The Shining when I've read it, even because I love King's books. I have few experiences with Kurt Vonnegut. I read only Slaughterhouse-Five, but it doesn't hooked me so much. Is this one on the same style?

I'm a big fan of Vonnegut though I haven't read him in years. It may be time for a re-read. I loved Cat's Cradle, Breakfast of Champions, and Slapstick.

Below the title of Mine, it says, A Novel of Terror. That is correct. I’m not sure what I’ve gotten myself into.
