What Are You Reading Now? Pt 2.
I generally enjoy Dan Simmons’s novels very much. I can only recall one or two that I didn’t. A couple of my favorites are Black Hills and The Fifth Heart.

I recently enjoyed the TV series of the latter on BBCA. They made just 8 episodes, making me want more. And I also had to read the book when I noticed it was based on one (like most TV shows or movies are). Really enjoying it, though after seeing the series it's a bit slow but I have to keep in mind this isn't like TV, LOL.

Got through some more today, and it's been interesting. Just not quite what I had in mind. It's my first Simmons book,..."
The Terror is one of my favorites.

I’m currently reading Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill. I like it but not as much as I loved NOS4A2. Recently finished Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman and enjoyed it.

Anansi Boys is way at the top of my list of favorites. Certainly one of Gaiman's best.

I didn't care much for it.
A Map of Days

Loved this book! I read it when it was first published years ago.

Yeah I've a feeling it'll be like a David Lynch film in book form

Got through some more today, and it's been interesting. Just not quite what I had in mind. It's my first Simmons book, but I'm very interested in reading The Terror and Hyperion as well. Hopefully this one ends strong so I'm not dissuaded from reading those.
