Great analysis Michael, I've been through NOS4A2 twice on audio, a great reading BTW. Trail of Lightning sounds great. I may give it a try. Like you, I always listen to one book while reading another, often there's a third in there too. But sometimes one book of the three takes over and pushes the others aside.

Alondra Miller Finishing up The Grip of It by Jac Jemc ... I have no idea what is happening and I love it!! The confusion of not knowing if this is a haunting or they just crazy; reminds me of House of Leaves. You never know what to believe and absolutely everything, is suspect.

Michele (spookybookshelfie) | 116 comments I'm finally back after a looong lasting reading slump. And I started off with a bang haha. I started reading 3 books at once - Outsider, Under the Dome and Lisey's story.. Currently I am most focusing on Lisey since that story is just pulling me in. I'm about halfway through and things are starting to get very exciting and nerve wrecking :)

Hey Michele, welcome back. Good to hear from you. I think this is the right place to post about all your new reads. BTW, I loved all three of those books... maybe Lisey's Story the most. Great read. There may be individual threads on each of those. But this is a good start.

Jenny a.k.a....Jenny from the block | 725 comments It's a weird one. It's like reading about someone that's losing cohesive glue while being drunk. Now there is a missing lady and wow wtf will happen next is the question I have. Did she kill her as the clothes by the tracks or did her boyfriend do IT or is she the same person or not. So many questions that I have to keep reading. This book is like sex. Some good and some bad but in the end doesn't make a difference. Sex is sex regardless if the sex isn't good. I rather have sex so I keep reading this sad and depressing book.
