My current King read is ..."
Thanks, Erin. I think you're right, books do change for the reader in re-reads. Though I never thought of it that way. I always go in trying to verify my previous review... Quite a mistake now that I think about it.
Not bad, funny, but after some chapters is different to follow the story. There are too much absurd situations and dialogues.Today I started Black Science, Vol. 1: How to Fall Forever, a sci fi comic series I discovered in the last months.

Me too."
This is one of my new favorites. I loved every bit of this book. Enjoy!"
I think a sequel to this is coming out in the fall.
I finished Elevation and The Troop. Now I'm reading House of Leaves. It's been a little difficult to figure out the writing style at the beginning.
Has anyone read Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks? I had started but put it on hold for the recent group reads.

It's a unique read.
Erin, isn’t that a famous actress in your profile? It’s not Lisa bonet, right? Im now reading red clocks, it’s definitely dystopian.
Erin wrote: "I think a sequel to this is coming out in the fall...."I heard about a sequel, but I didn't think this soon. I'm game!!
This may be one of very few books, that I would preorder.

HoL is a commitment. Read Wil Wheaton's review and then the reviewer he recommends.
You can read HoL straight through, notes first or main story. There are some pages with just one word or only notes or nothing at all. The author, whomever that is, is detached from reality. Also, the house is an entity all its own.
This was one of my favorite books and still is. That house freaked me out and I don't scare easily.
Good luck.
Currently reading: V is for Vengeance; The Marco Effect and …..back at it with Ninefox Gambit. I must be a glutton for punishment. I actually am getting it a little bit. We shall see

I'm slowly working my way through as I've only been able to read on my transit ride to work and I was sick a few days. However, I have to go to see if I get picked for jury duty on Thursday. I should get a good bit read that day.
"Wizard and Glass" and "20th Century Ghosts"cause sometimes one book isn’t enough to satisfy the ass kickin' beast inside me.....

Dismember and other stories of mystery and suspense, I was hoping for something like Full Dark, No Stars. It's not like that, however it was a page turner, and did provide a laugh.
I’m reading: Reliquary https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Mystery, thriller, science fiction with a monster all rolled into one awesome story....
After reading Thirteen by Steve Cavanaugh and The Fourth Monkey by J D Barker 2 absolutely brilliant crime thrillers, I've gone with Broken Promise by Linwood Barclay I'm not a fan of his but have found the odd good book by him and there's certainly a lot going on in this one

Andrei wrote: "The Bible"I've been wanting to read The Bible, but possibly listen to it on audiobook...I just can't seem to find a version I want to listen to yet.

From the beginning, Im at the Exodus.
I have a friend reading that right now Kathryn. She said it’s good but, we had a conversation about Auschwitz and how a few of my friends have seen the site where the room is holding the children’s shoes. I’m not sure she’ll finish the book or not?

It already has a nice, quick flow to it. Pretty short novel, too.
I believe I've seen a picture of the room you are talking about. Makes your heart break.
Upon the recommendation of a Methodist minister emeritus, I once read the New Testament at the rate of one chapter per day. It was an excellent and enlightening experience.

It’s one of my favorite King books! I’m glad you gave it a re-read.
