Yes Glen there are some changes but they are not as major as made out to be. (view spoiler) You have to trust until they destroy you trust.

I loved the talisman, have to go back and read Black House as it has been years since I read it and not want to make any mistakes with Sai Kings books.

So far the changes aren’t too annoying.

I just finished Centennial by James Michener, and it has taken its place as the best book I have ever read. I am amazed that he could put together such a huge story.

Oh... That's one of my favorite Stephen King book. You just reminded me that it's about time to re-read it. Thank you!

Yes, but twenty years later.

I will be honest, I did not enjoy the second half/final third as much as the beginning. I thought the first half was amazing and then after a certain section of the book (the school), I felt it slowly lost steam, and the climax left a lot to be desired. I still haven't read Black House but I own it and am looking forward to doing so (plus I believe many find it to be better than The Talisman? I could be mistaken).

I just finished The Talisman as well and I loved it! I'm not much of a crier but there were a few moments in that book that really got me. I started Black House a few days ago but I'm having a difficult time getting into it. Hopefully that changes!

Jenny a.k.a....Jenny from the block | 725 comments I'm reading the Hunger Games and this world is unnerving and bleak. I'm just getting into the story and I'm guessing that Katniss will be a shooting star that we all can look up to... When I'm done; my next venture will have to be the Running Man....

A collection of the Punisher's early guest appearances in other books. It's funny how he kind of looks like Spock early on.

I haven't read The Long Walk in a few years. It used to be a yearly reread for me, to get the reading mojo kickstarted.

I miss that story....
