What Are You Reading Now? Pt 2.

I didn't like it either, mine was DNF. :/
mrbooks wrote: "You will love this book also his other books Heart shaped box NO4A2 and Horns oh and 20th century Ghost stories. and his current one out Strange weather."I loved Heart-Shaped Box and so many readers did not. I absolutely loved NOS4A2. :)
mrbooks wrote: "Rhian if your not enjoying it don't carry on don't torcher yourself."Actually, I have carried a torch for a few King women, Susan Delgado, Susan Norton, for sure. Leigh Cabot, Mattie Devour, Bev Marsh, Frannie Goldsmith... even (I'm sorry but I have to admit it) Christine.
Oh my, what have I started...Really a car? That particular car was demonic, but hey if you like women who are possessed and crazy to boot then more power to you LOL.
I'm not sure if I already posted but about halfway through City of Fallen Angels, #4 in the Mortal Instruments series.I'm also enjoying Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding. Very humorous and fun.
And almost done with The Black Ice, the second Harry Bosch novel by Michael Connelly. I've read many but not all of the Bosch books, and not in order. But it's of my opinion they can be read as stand-alone books even though it's a series. :-)
Femmy wrote: "I love Red Rising! And the trilogy gets better with the second and third book."That's what all my coworkers said! I'm on page 50 now and it seems to have just gotten interesting!
I'm "about" to read Roger Zelazny's , "A Night In The Lonesome October" as soon as it arrives from the mid-west! I've heard many great reviews of this book.... I've had this one on my TBR shelf for years. (Better late than never.)
I'm into the 7th dark tower book. I really wasn't going to read it again, but its been about 10 years, we were doing a group read for a while, and there it was. I started and I got hooked. Only about 150 pages in but it's amazing. The power of King's imagination is overwhelming.
Erin wrote: "Starting "Hidden Bodies" by Caroline Kepnes. Its the sequel to "You"."I have You from the library, I hope to start it soon. Have you tried the TV series?
I'm starting Daisy in Chains by Sharon Bolton tonight and have Roadwork ready too. We'll see how well they mix with The Dark Tower 7.
Really just started Assassins Quest in earnest. My reading time is suffering....ughAlso going to start Dust, this evening

I listened to the audio book while working or should say the hole trilogy it does get better. I liked it .
Nick wrote: "I'm starting Daisy in Chains by Sharon Bolton tonight and have Roadwork ready too. If it is how they were sent to print then you are on the Dark Tower itself. If it is placement then it is the song of Susannah. I'm not sure how Rage will fit in with either of those books. Unless you consider that a gunslinger approach to battle it controlled rage and fury honed into the sharpest skills and reactions anyone can have. What are your thoughts on the Artist Nick ?
Afnan wrote: "order of the phoenix by J.k.Rowling"Afnan you are in for a treat this is one of the best books. OK I am a Potter Head they are all good to me. But Yes This book is an eye opener, I hope you enjoy it.
I've started The lost child by John Hart, it's already better than Blaze, I picked this book from a charity shelf somewhat just to try a new author and it seems promising so far
Rhian wrote: "Nick I hope you enjoy it as much as I did"Made it through the first 100 pages last night. Very entertaining, and enjoyable, looking forward to trying to unravel it all as I go along. Thanks for the recommendation.

So I read the whole series a few years ago and now I'm going through them again as part of a group read. Just finished Wizard and Glass, Wind, Wolves, Song, and now I'm into The dark tower. So far it's better than I remember. I'll be reading Roadwork as part of the October read, so I may sit Dark Tower aside for a bit. It's an experience that I really don't want to finish anytime soon anyway.

Still reading Assassin's Quest and just picked up The Deep for the start of my month long horror spree!
