Good work. Sounds very worthwhile... except maybe for the dedicated laundry read. :-)

Wow Kerry, all at the same time? I can and have read three at one time without forgetting where I am at any one time. But 10 at a time I would never get anything done.

mrbooks | 1469 comments Fair enough and how many tines have you read it ? My sons favorite when he was younger was Winking Blinking and Nod. I swear I read that story at least 50-100 times I use to be able to quote it word for word with out the book. I had the book open but not to the page. I got caught one night when I was reading and my son wanted to see the pics, LOL.

This is my third book of his, They Thirst and Swan Song being the other two. This is my favourite so far and I will definitely get to the two you mentioned.

I read that recently but I must say that was my least favorite King book yet. I have seen that a lot of people on here liked Gerald's Game but not me. I struggled to get through it.

Oooo A Clockwork Orange. I've seen the movie directed by Stanley (the Greatest Director ever) Kubrick. Quite dark, morbid and sadistic. Great movie. Never read the book though.

message 5879: by Glenn (new)

Glenn Whatley I'm currently reading Bram Stoker's Dracula! Very intriguing to see how the horror genre has formed over the last century. I've picked up quite a few similarities, which makes me think that the novel would have been ahead of it's time when it was originally published in 1897! Very enjoyable read so far!

message 5893: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) | 942 comments No pressure, Erin. You have at least three people in two different groups who want to know how you like Drood.

message 5894: by Erin (new)

Erin (ems84) | 2661 comments It's becoming a tough read. I am almost half way through it (thanks to spending six hours at jury duty yesterday) and I feel like the book isn't focusing enough on Drood, it's more of a study of the relationship between Dickens and Collins. I guess I should reserve complete judgement until I finish it.

I have read at least 3 Dark Tower tie-ins (Eyes of the Dragon, It, Everything's Eventual) before actually starting the series and it was fun!

Reading Death cure book three in the Maze runner series.

I like A Clockwork Orange. I hope you enjoyed it. It got into a rythym with the writing and I felt it was kind of sing-song.
