Gee I hope so!

You don’t want to read this book if you have an itchy rash. It will creep you out. Wait for it to go away, then read the book!

Nick Iuppa | 4272 comments Just finished I'll Be Gone In The Dark, an amazing real-crime story of the Golden State Killer. Five stars. My review is posted here:

Aditya Finished The Sins of the Fathers by Lawrence Block. The first entry in the Matt Scudder series and it is pretty evident why Block is held in such high esteem among fans of the genre. Rating - 4/5.

Aditya Finished The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn. Lots of hype about this one but does not live up to it. Shallower and stupider than it pretends to be. Rating - 3/5.

Alondra - I loved that book too. Its sequel, The Queen of Bedlam, is also pretty good (not quite as good as Nightbird, though).

Finished Dark Matter yesterday, a great read. It was refreshing reading a book with such an original idea.

message 5628: by Aditya (new)

Aditya Finished Burning Angel by James Lee Burke. So far I have sung praises of Robicheaux series in all of my groups but this one did not work for me. Magical realism and gritty crime does not mix well together. Rating - 2/5
