Gee I hope so!
You don’t want to read this book if you have an itchy rash. It will creep you out. Wait for it to go away, then read the book!
Just finished I'll Be Gone In The Dark, an amazing real-crime story of the Golden State Killer. Five stars. My review is posted here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Finished The Sins of the Fathers by Lawrence Block. The first entry in the Matt Scudder series and it is pretty evident why Block is held in such high esteem among fans of the genre. Rating - 4/5.My review - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Sounds like Joe Hills the Fireman.
After loving Black Water Lillies by Michel Bussi I'm giving another book of his a try and I'm hooked already, After the crash is the book

Nothing like it!
Finished The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn. Lots of hype about this one but does not live up to it. Shallower and stupider than it pretends to be. Rating - 3/5.My review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Alondra wrote: "Currently Speaks the Nightbird by Robert McCammon. Love it. :)"Alondra - I loved that book too. Its sequel, The Queen of Bedlam, is also pretty good (not quite as good as Nightbird, though).

That’s a really fun book!
The CompletionistFinished Dark Matter yesterday, a great read. It was refreshing reading a book with such an original idea.
Finished Burning Angel by James Lee Burke. So far I have sung praises of Robicheaux series in all of my groups but this one did not work for me. Magical realism and gritty crime does not mix well together. Rating - 2/5My review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Since it's now baseball season...but I still want to be creeped out at least a little bit...how about this one!..https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

Finished Time to Murder and Create by Lawrence Block. I like the first book more but this is still not bad and Matt Scudder is an excellent protagonist. Rating - 3/5My review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Fantasy in Death by J. D. Robb
Finishing up a re-read of The stand and am technically about 20 pages into Les Miserables. No clue if once I finish The stand I'll dig into Les Mis, or if I'll use that one as a slow burn read.
I picked up American War by Omar El Akkad on a whim. It’s pretty good thus far, though his style does owe an awful lot to Sinclair Lewis.
