A couple of days ago I finished Dancing with Bears. Pleasurable story, but in some moments a little confused. Now I'm reading Assassin's Apprentice. I am at the beginning, but it's an intriguing story.
I am reading Never Go Back (Jack Reacher series) by Lee Child. I have really grown to love Jack None Reacher. He's definitely rough around the edges, and I wouldn't want to be his spouse, but I can think of no one better to have my back!

Ooo That book is next of my list to read in my fantasy buddy read. I have yet to read any of Robin Hobb's books and read so many good thing about Assassin's Apprentice.
If you scroll up on this thread you can see what I've been reading.

With the next book you start and want to stop, pick one of your books on hold and finish that then go back to the first book. In this way I can read up to five books without bookmarks. Well I use to no I am old and need a book mark to remind me of where I am and where I have been. LOL.
Thanks, Leslie. I’m a little more than halfway through it, and I’m enjoying it very much.

I have heard really good things about it.

This is me of my favorite books, Erin. I hope you are enjoying it.
Finished Dixie City Jam by James Lee Burke. Every fan of crime fiction should read Robicheaux series if they hadn't already. One of the more fast paced installments of the series, Dixie City Jam continues Burke's purple patch. Rating - 4/5.I love writing reviews for Robicheaux books for some reason. I finished it in a day, I liked it.
Rhian wrote: "I've started The Poet by Michael Connelly I've wanted to read this for so long"That's one of my favorite Connelly books, even without Bosch in it. That's cause I liked Jack McEvoy too. :-)
Sherrill wrote: "just finished the Dark Tower the Wolves of Calla"One of my favorite installments in this series! I liked the books later in the series, except for Drawing of the Three which was just the second book. Other than that, I liked #6 and 7 the best as well. :-)
Tim wrote: "Patriot Games by Tom Clancy"I read this years ago, after having seen the movie with Harrison Ford. (view spoiler)
It was great picturing Ford as I read the book! I read the sequel too, Clear and Present Danger.
Linda wrote: "I started Song Of Susannah by Stephen King."One of my favorite installments for this series! I didn't like #1, or #4 too much, and #3 was pretty good or okay for me. The later books are what I liked best, except for Drawing of the Three which was just #2. Loved that one too.

I love that and the whole Dark Tower series!
I didn't care for Song of Susannah. I didn't for the way he wrote himself into the story and didn't spend enough on Jake and Susannah.
Wise Cat wrote: "Erin wrote: "Fahrenheit 451"Read this years ago and LOVED it. Way better than the movie version!"
I don't believe I have seen the movie version but I did read that HBO was doing a movie remake. I think it's suppose to premiere at some point this spring.
mrbooks wrote: "Have to admit the movie is not even a b category movie, it is almost cringe worthy."Like the mini series of The Stand. I wish they did a remake of The Stand with seriousness, with justice for the book sake.
I'm reading A Wrinkle in Time so I can go see it with my 11 year old son at the movies this weekend. His class read it earlier in the school year.

You have forgotten the face of your father, this is not about the book but the money I mean really Molly Ringwald as Fran Goldsmith. Morgan Freeman would make a good Judge though if they did a remake of the Stand, Vin Diesel needs to be in the remake but not sure what character he should play.
mrbooks wrote: "Have to admit the movie is not even a b category movie, it is almost cringe worthy."I agree! (Fahrenheit 451) I couldn't believe it when I was watching that. I thought, "Are you kidding me??" Ha Ha
Linda wrote: "I didn't care for Song of Susannah. I didn't for the way he wrote himself into the story and didn't spend enough on Jake and Susannah."I thought that's what made it unique. :-) To me, it was awfully creative.
