We changed the ruling. You no longer have to write a set of DQs, Imke. You are answering the DQs and taking part in the discussion. So, you're golden, as far as #4 goes.

Owls Well That Ends Well by Donna Andrews, Meg Langslow #6#5 - 'O' in title, 'A' in author's name, 'M' in series name
#6 - 'A' in author's name - ANY ROSE
#7 - 7 letters in author's last name
Please keep this thread to finished book postings only please. Use the other threads for discussion. I will answer Riya's question in the update thread.Added Brooke's books.
Added The Engagements from Michael's books.
Realized one of my book could count (thought it was under the limit and it wasn't) and I finished up one as well, so here's two more for ya.
I stole Brazen from your read shelf yesterday. I'm sneaky like that. Just added Sworn to Silence. ETA: just realized that I missed some book posts in my delerium last night. So going backwards to make sure I have all the finished books accounted for in the 7% thread.
I think I have it all fixed now.
We are done with a few books to spare.Maybe. I might have to remove some players because the teams were combined becuase they were small and then new players were added.
I spent a long time updating this thing and now I have headache and I don't think I can look at it anymore for awhile.
Yes. I might need them to replace books from players that I have to drop. And here I've broken my own rule about this being for finished book postings only. I'll punish myself later.
(I might have to drop some books from players who aren't active in the 7% challenge to make it fair to the other teams). Most of you regularly posting here should be staying on the 7% challenge.
I finished
Where She Went, by Gayle Forman. The only category it might fit is #6 (I think?). It takes place in New York City. I don't remember if that was a favorite vacation destination or not. We don't really *need* this book but go ahead and use it as a buffer if you want and think it fits the task.Finished: June 11.
We're done and I am submitting all our books for approval. Thanks everyone. We did awesome on this. I had no idea we'd get it done so quickly.
We decided to see if we can fill it in again. So keep posting your finished books if you want to. Just for fun and not mandatory. We just finished so quickly we thought it would be fun to try again.
Since I have a helper now with updating, I'll post my finished books here too instead of just fitting them in somehwere. Doesn't work for much:
E,S for spell outs.
Added books up to here to the spreadsheet and moved over books that we read but didn't use for the first round.
I would think us doing this again could count for a team mini challenge? But I don't know how that works?
We don't get any extra credit for running our own mini-challenges. It's just something fun to encourage more people to post & read and because most of us are challenge junkies. I figured the 2nd round of the 7% challenge would be our own personal June mini-challenge. We'll put something else up in July.
*Since you're doing this so passionately, if this helps: Rise of a Hero (the book I've read that is included in this challenge) could be under 7 letters since it is part of the Farsala series (Farsala=7 letters)
Finished up a couple today:
2: bronze-yes per mods
5: M, L, W
6: Bath, England (vacation spot?)
7: 7th in series
5: D, L, C, A
6: A of spell-out
7: The Dawn Star, Lost Colony (by) Catherine Asaro
Oh! I forgot to add
, Cleo Coyle. Finished it yesterday (June 15).Fits/How:
#3. Color Behind (B'dazzled Blue) - Blue Cover
#7. Seven words w/title, series name, author name (Murder Most Frothy, Coffeehouse Mystery, Cleo Coyle)
