S.J. | 6 comments Hi, I just received, as a GR PM, a message from a GR 'member.' It is essentially one of those Nigerian/Ghanan fraudulent 'contact me for your share of millions' fraudulent money solicitations. If you know of someone who can deal with this 'member' appropriately, please contact me.
Thanks

Empress (the_empress) Hi there, do not delete the email and flag it, you can flag the profile as well. It will be dealt very quickly (deleted and blocked.)

S.J. | 6 comments Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. I had moved the email straight to trash. Now I moved it back to inbox. How do I flag it? Sorry, but I don't see that as an option in the drop-down menu. Ditto for flagging the profile?

Ooops. Just noticed how to flag email. Will now move on to profile. Thanks again!

S.J. | 6 comments Okay, flagging the profile looks to be like another issue for me. Is that the same as blocking it, which I do see as an option?

Manybooks The main point is to flag the email (and not to respond to it). And do not erase it if you have flagged it, because otherwise GR staff will not be able to see it and do anything about it.

Also, this is not really a Librarian issue.

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments When you open the email on the right hand side of the page are message options Flag is one of them. It is above the block person link

This kind of thing is better posted in the GR Feedback group also rather than this group

S.J. | 6 comments Thanks and sorry. About posting inappropriately. Thought I would find a lot of knowledgeable people here.
Thanks again.

No problem, just post in the feedback section next time.

That being said, I really wish that GR would consider a specific thread or folder in the feedback group for people to report issues such as this (I know staff wants you to email them rather than post even in the feedback section), but it sure would be easier to have a place to post concerns.
