No, I don't think so because I don't think of The Land of Stories as animated, or with a happily ever after. There are some serious parts in the beginning that make it more real, and Disney would probably make it funky and happy. Disney would also make Conner and Alex not seem like normal kids anymore. I think they should still make a movie, but not in Disney, and not animated.

I would love to see all three of the books in this series made in to a movie the book has me wanting more and a descriptive visual to understand the text even better. but the only thing is that the movie is not always as accurate as the book

This was a pretty badly written book, perhaps a movie could redeem the actual story, which was an interestingly fractured fairy tale. Definitely in live action though.

I think they should because the book is so adventurous and so cute with all the characters in like red riding hood, goldilocks, hack and Alex and Conner. It would be amazing to see to story the readers dreamed in their head to the actual movie so they can compare what they saw. The book is a very good book and it is good for especially younger kids and also teenagers as well.

Nope. Not a Disney movie. Even though this book is fairy-tale-ish doesn't mean it's a fairy tale, which, in my opinion is what Disney does 'best.'
I've seen enough books butchered as movies anyway...

Maybe this would be a good way for Disney to redeem themselves by using their already drafted characters and filling their true literary roles. Disney is also always making those terrible compilations, like the princess movie sequels, I think this book adapted to a movie is a way they could bring younger and older audiences together, enjoying their favorite characters. This book turned into a movie would be a great opportunity.

I do think it should be a movie but I just don't think it should be a disney movie. No afance to any one that likes disney i do too i just don't think disney should make it because I don't think it will be as good as the book itself

Yes but actually base it off the book, or not disney, or both. Because disney makes way to many princess movies, so they'll likely be modified off of them. But its still on my Books that should be a Movie List (not Goodreads)

I would love to see it as a movie, just not a Disney one. The Harry Potter series was great and so we're the movies. I want TLOS to be a movie like those, not a sugar coated pretty little animated Disney movie. I love Disney, but I dont want this to be associated with Disney.

I think it should be a movie.... but 1., not animated 2., not Disney. It could be the next Harry Potter! But I don't want it to ruin the books for me.... so it better be good if they have one. They better not make it a let down.

I think it would be a GREAT movie, but they might change the movie. Personally, I like reading books instead of watching movies because the book is the original. Who ever creates the movie might change it.

The book is perfect just the way it is without it being turned into a movie,which will cut out all the important details that the book has.So,no,I don't think it should be turned into a movie.

i LOVE this book! I think that both Land of Stories books should be made into movies. Maybe with a different company though. Disney might make it unrealistic and superficial. With live actors, of course. I think it would be a bit awkward as an animated film. I think Chris Colfer should act in it. Or at least direct or be a consultant. After all, he knows this book best!

It was an awesome book and would love to see it made into a movie. But it definitely should NOT be animated. They would make it more for a younger audience... My only concern with it is would they make it just for little kids and not for pre-teens like the book itself is made for like Ellen said she is an adult and loved it I just think that Disney making the movie would take that away.

This book lends itself to the trends now on TV - "Once Upon A Time" and "Alice in Wonderland" - so it would make an interested movie.
