What's the point of reading books about 12-year-olds, since the characters are too young to write dirty fanfics about?

This is disgusting and all books of this type should be abolished.
Since when is the point of reading a book to write sexual fanfics about it later? This is the stupidest claim because there are so many books following a younger crowd. If you'd read it without sex on the brain you might actually enjoy it or learn something from it. These books are super educational but its pretty obvious you got nothing from that.
Well no one told you to go and read it! And you can still write a dirty fanfic about it, but it will make you seem somewhat of a pedophile...

Not everything can be about that. In the begining Rick started by telling this to his middle school son. And I think he nailed it. Anyways if you don't like it then don't read them. I still can!
