SOLVED. Funny 80's (?) sci-fi about three earth teenagers that accidently end up leaving earth while trying to flee from bad aliens [s]

The book begins with a punk rocker and nerd meeting up in a bowling alley at which they end up getting in a fight. During the fight a guy tries to help them get away from the bad guys and it turns out he and the bad guys are aliens. They also end up picking up the popular girl in school and flee into space. The bad guys are after this weird thing the good alien has which in the end turns out to be the "missing matter" in the universe.

I would love it some one can help me remember this book! Thanks in advance!
