Amaryllis, who had been in the simulation room longer than the both newcomers-just sitting at the very corner watching Desiree, stood and walked over to Desiree urgently to help her up. "Are you okay?" she asked as she held out an offering hand for Desiree to take.

(Sorry if that's not my greatest post ever, I just woke up so I'm still kind of sleepy...)
(No problem. I think I'll be leaving soon, though.)
Amaryllis was surprised by Desiree's second time falling. She helped Desiree off Jay and held her up instead, clearly she seemed uncomfortable in a male's arms like that. "Do you need anything?" she asked the girl, "I could bring you to the infirmary to get your ankle checked."

Désirée suddenly found herself relieved that she'd chosen to wear black leggings underneath her denim skirt this morning, but obviously the denim flats hadn't been much help. Unable to keep herself from blushing slightly due to the fact that she was once more, on the spotlight, it took her a few moments before she collected herself enough to answer the other girl's question. "I- I'm not quite sure how much use that would be since I'm supposed to work there..." she explained softly, slightly embarrassed that this time she had spoken enough for her obvious French accent to be evident. Nonetheless, after some consideration, she realized that it would most definitely be beneficial if she could bandage her leg and put some ice on it. Why on Earth must I be so clumsy? she thought woefully.
(Me, however is going to sleep now. Avalon, please help me tell Shuhan that if she/he asks.)
Amaryllis shifted Desiree over so Jay could help her too. She turned to face Desiree and said, "We should be bringing you to the infirmary. Have you any disagreements?"

Désirée was slightly surprised that Jay too had his own accent. With a polite smile, she looked over at the two of them sheepishly, "Only if it's not too much trouble... I'd hate to be a bother to you." In the mean time she mentally reprimanded herself for being so rude as to make the two of them help her simply because she was careless enough to get hurt. She also noted to herself that she would most definitely have to pay the two of them back later somehow.

Désirée ended up giving up on apologizing to Grayson for the moment when she spotted Jane going to him. If Jane, who'd suffered the most recently, had something to say, she ought to be the one to speak first. With this, Désirée also realized that Jay might need some consoling, seeing as he obviously hadn't truly meant to act that way. It was likely simply the fact that she'd spoken too freely that had gotten to him, and then he saw Grayson catch her... It was obviously extremely misleading. Upon following Jay's trail of chaos, she soon discovered that it led to the simulation room. Of course when she entered, her first site was a devastated friend, crying, and for once she really didn't know what to say. Sure, she'd planned some things out at first, but upon seeing him there, everything simply seemed to generic.

"I know Jay. I know you are sorry. I know you did not mean to hurt anyone, not really. I know you simply want to be forgiven, but that is not something I can do for you. It is Grayson, Jane, and Felix whom you must ask for pardon, and explain yourself to," Désirée whispered, her French accent seeming to add to the anguish in her tone. The tears that sparkled in her eyes seemed a reflection of Jay's own.

Cora walked into the Simulation Room feeling rather conflicted. She knew they wanted her to use her powers again..."Cora, you're a valued field agent, and that's where we need you, in the field. You have to get out of your funk." She ground her teeth in anger. Yes, she was in a 'funk', killing a sibling could do that to a person. It didn't matter to her that he was a criminal...that was putting it lightly, Axel was on the most wanted list. But regardless he was still her brother. She turned on the simulator instantly a target appeared, she tried to shoot an energy bolt at it. Tried being the key word, her shot went wild and hit the wall. She sighed, this was great...
"You're too tense. Breath in, and shoot as you release." Grayson offered, emerging from the shadows. He had been watching the girl for a while, studying her efficiency and motions. Obviously she was angry, or frustrated about something. He had to admit, when he noticed her come in, his eyes were drawn immediately. Cora's profile was not cute, or sweet like Jane or Desiree. The only way to describe this girl was sexy. Either way, Grayson wasn really focused on her image, more of the pain that lay beneath. Taking a step forward, he gathered electricity in the palm of his hand and took a deep breath, pelting the orb towards the target when he released his breath. The simulated target shattered, and Gray turned to Cora to watch her reaction.
She was startled, she hadn't heard him approach until he spoke to her...that was careless of her. She didn't let it show howbeit, her face became emotionless as he came closer. When he explained that she was too tensed and need to relax Cora opened her mouth to snap at him but sighed before closing it. It wasn't his fault that she was having issues with her powers, and she wasn't going to yell at him as if it was. She couldn't stop the impressed look from crossing her face as he...destroyed the target. She chewed her lower lip, unsure of what to say to him, obviously he would expect her to make another attempt, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. So she settled for an introduction instead, "Thank you...I'm Cora, Cora Hawthorne." She gave him a weak smile, as she awaited for his name.
"Grayson Deliwitz. And your welcome." He smiled slightly, one corner of his mouth raised. "You having trouble with your powers?" Grayson was unnaturally good at judging one's character, and reading their emotions. Currently, Cora had a steel wall surrounding her feelings. He walked over to the simulation panel and pressed a few buttons, the targets reforming in many different shapes and sizes. Maybe he could help her- if she wanted him to.
...Deliwitz...Deliwitz... Cora's eyes widened for a fraction of a second before her face became impassive once more. Henry Deliwitz, she assumed, was Grayson's father. Not that it bothered her in the least bit, she had no room to judge, as her brother was Axel Hawthorne...or Troy as he call himself. She grinned as she noticed him trying to read her, she was gifted at hiding her emotions. "Well...it's not that I'm having trouble, exactly. More like...I'm refusing to use them but I'm being forced to use them. Which makes me want to use them less..." Cora sighed as she realized that she was babbling, and not really making sense. "Let's just go with yes." She laughed softly, rubbing the back of her head, and shrugged slightly.
"Would you like some help?" Grayson asked, his lips tilting slightly. He saw the dawn of realization on her face when he said Deliwitz but appreciated it when she didn't say anything about it. He knew that her brother was on the wanted list, so maybe she was just relating to his position. With one eyebrow raised, he took a step closer and awaited her answer. Grayson wasn't the one for volunteering or anything at all really, but this girl intrigued him in so many ways. Also, she could understand why he was always so blocked off from the world sometimes.
Cora blinked rapidly as she was caught off guard by his offer, she bit her lip as she tilted her side to the side in consideration. What could it hurt? He couldn't make her do any worse than she was doing right now. As much as she wanted to avoid being sent back out to the field she knew it was illogical. Eventually they would grow impatience, well more so than now, with her and demand that she get her act together. Plus, if she were admitting it to herself, Grayson was rather striking and she couldn't help but find herself attracted to him. As dangerous as those emotions might be. As he took a step forward she couldn't help but study him further. His eyes were utterly intriguing. At first glance they seemed blue, but there was a mix of grey within them that gave off the appearance of a storm. Considering his powers his eye color was quite fitting for him. A soft shade of scarlet crept upon her face as she realized that she had been blatantly staring at him. She cleared her throat and quickly looked anywhere but at him, "Yes...I would like you help I mean. If you want to help...that is..."
Grayson couldn't help the grin that plastered his face when she said yes. And the fact that she had been staring at him for at least a minute. Maybe she found him as attractive as he found her? Pushing the thought from his mind, he rose to his full height and took a few more steps until there was barely an inch between the two. He practically towered over Cora, and had to bend his knees to properly help her. Slowly, he placed his hand on Cora's forearm and brought it to her side, elbow bent slightly. He couldn't help the tingle of pleasure as his skin made contact with hers but he pushed his ridiculous emotions downward. He adjusted her arm until it was in the right position and slowly moved it as he offered her the instructions. "So while in motion, you have to flick your wrist and release at the same time. Make sure your elbow is fluid as well, or you won't get enough power in the throw, okay?" He commanded and stapped back, ready for her to show him what she's got.
Cora's face grew more heated as he got closer to her, the grin clearly upon his face didn't help either. She mentally scowled herself. She had never been so...affected by a member of the opposite gender before. Grayson was too attractive for his own good...much too attractive. She smirked in amusement as he seemed to kneel to get to her height. She wasn't that much shorter than him, she was nearly 5'10"! When his skin touched hers it was as sparks trailed throughout her body, she brushed it off, chalking it up to nerves. But Cora's suddenly racing heart strongly disagreed with her. The look in her eye turned serious as she heard his order, she was like a solider in that regard, orders she followed. No questions asked. He wanted to see what she could do? Well she would show him. Her normally blue ice-like orbs swirled into a bright yellow hue as she focused an orb of energy between her palms. When it grew to the size of a basketball, she flicked her wrists pushing it from her person as he had instructed her. The ball of energy seem to be heading into the middle of the targets, like it would miss them all. Howbeit, at the last moment it divided apart into smaller orbs shooting to every target available and obliterated them all.
Cora eye's returned to their normal glacier shade of azure as her expectant gaze landed on Grayson. She arched a seemingly delicate brow as she awaited his thoughts on how she had just done. In her mind she had done rather well, but it was his opinion that actually mattered to her. He was the one helping her after all...
Grayson's eyebrows raised in surprise. For one who was having difficulties with her abilities, or not wanting to use them at least, did an amazing job. "Wow." Was all he managed to say, smiling appreciatively at Cora. She was a tough one, that was for sure. Smirking, an idea formed in his head. "Let's try this," Grayson walked back to the panel and set up a city scene in New York, picking out a few villains to target. The walls of the room seemed to collapse, and within seconds, they were in the night life of the Big Apple. "You ready?" He asked, eyebrows raised.
Cora giggled as she watched the shock flash across his face, but stopped when she realized what she had done. Giggled. Cora Hawthorne had actually giggled! She felt...well she wasn't quite able to fathom how she felt, she was slightly dismayed to say the least. If she had thought that her face was red before, the shade that it had turned now was incomparable. Cora had never been the type of girl to giggle, or to blush, but here she had done both in less than an hour. It was easy to deduce that it was Grayson's doing, whether he had meant to or not. Oh if Ace could see her now, he wouldn't let her live it down...ever. Her eyed narrowed her eyes as he smirked, something told her she wasn't going to like the idea he had come up with. But she wasn't one to back down, that was one thing she could never do. "Yes, I am." She gave him a smirk of her own, though it came across more as a flirt attempt than as a challenge acceptance, unbeknownst to her.
Grayson felt a spark of satisfaction as Cora giggled. She didn't seem like the type of girl who did it often, and Gray was proud because of it. Suddenly, a simulated siren started wailing and he knew that was the starting signal. He went into fighting stance, eyes darting everywhere. He was completely in fight mode, and there was no way for him to get out of it until the battle was over. A simulated version of Sylvia Beaumont popped out of no where and Grayson dodged a wave of water that headed his way. Looking back, he glanced to see how Cora was doing.
Cora focused as the alarm sounded alerting her to the fact that the challenge was beginning. She got in her 'zone', it was a deadly state...well fatal for her enemies. An image of a little girl popped up, flanked by Tyson Bridges, Cora shot an energy bolt at him before he teleportated out of the way. She grinned in triumph, one down five more to go. She felt eyes upon her person and she glimpsed over at Grayson beaming at him. This was what she needed, to throw herself back into the game, he seen that when she hadn't...she was impressed. Her proud moment was short lived, however, as a she spotted a shadow sword flying right at him. Without thinking she allowed her self-conscious to leave her body as she astral projected an image of herself in front of him. Narrowly missing Grayson, the sword pierced her 'flesh' destroying the sword and her projection. Cora was pushed back into her body with enough force to throw her half away across the room. As she hit the floor, Cora landed on her wrist and she gasped in pain.
Grayson halted as Cora fell to the ground and saw her gasp in pain as her wrist landed in an awkward position. Sprinting to the panel, he shut down the system and the panels went back to the white, reflective material. He rushed over to where Cora was sprawled on the ground and kneeled beside her, pushing her long hair out of her face. Gently, he took her wrist in his hands and muttered an apology when Cora winced. There was a bruise forming, so he assumed it was sprained or fractured at the minimum. "Come on princess." Gray said and put one arm under her legs and one under her neck, lifting her bridal style. He didn't care if it was only her wrist- he wasn't about to let an injured girl walk alone to the infirmary.
Cora ground her teeth as he touched her wrist, it hurt but considering that she could have broken it she took it in stride. She was surprised when he picked her up, even more so at his use of the word princess. Despite being in pain she laughed, "I'm hardly a princess, though I'm hoping you meant it more as an endearment than as an insult." She was trying to distract herself, but it wasn't working. There was only one criminal that could have made that sword, Troy. But he was dead. Dead criminals shouldn't be in the simulation...should they? She bit her lower lip, deep in her troubled thoughts. "Wait...where are you taking me?" She knew the answer, the infirmary, that was a place she'd rather not go. The smell...she just couldn't handle the sterile scent associated with it. "I'm fine really, it's just a bruise...it will heal in no time." She started struggling in an attempt to get out of his arms. He was incredibly strong apparently, because she couldn't free herself.

With Cora in his arms, Grayson moved around the boy and out the door. "No Cora, you are not fine. If that wrist is broken, you need to get it healed before our next mission." He stated authoritatively. His stance was in protection mode as he walked down the hallways, holding Cora to his chest. Though the fact that Desiree was going to be there gave him mixed feelings. He knew he had feelings for both the girls but Cora seemed right... whereas Desiree seemed like a mystery.

"Honestly I'm fine it's fine, see not broken at all!" Cora rotated her wrist as if to prove her point, blatantly ignoring the pain that went along with it. "Besides, I don't have any plans of going on a mission anytime soon..." The thought of her brother made her involuntarily shutter. Grayson didn't show any signs of stopping and Cora tried not to panic. Biting her lip, rather harshly, she looked up at him her eyes were pleading with him, "I'm fine...please...just take me to my dorm?" She hated begging, but she didn't want this to end up on her record. Her injury record was flawless, and as petty as it sounded she didn't want to ruin it. Though if she was being truthful, which she wasn't, that was just a cover for her fear of anything hospital related.
