Hey, the last thing I would want to have happen is for someone to get in trouble because of some innocent posting.
Cause I care about you all 2 much :]

Message from the Goodreads Admin who deleted the image in question...
Yuck. I deleted it. You might recommend that your group members repost images they want to display in the group to web sites they trust. For instance, they could try using tumblr.com or posterous.com, both of which make it pretty easy to post images. Just a thought.

*drops it on the desk* enjoy!

1/ Do you own the image? If not, is it public domain? If someone owns the image, then you breach their IPR and any number of copyright laws by using the image without their explicit permission
2/ As Dee has nentioned, if you just link to a picture of a bunch of daffs and the owner of the website changes that image for that of a man getting intimate with a donkey, that is what will get shown here.
3/ This is meant to be a site that extolls the value of language - the written word - so don't bother with pictures anyway!
uh oh . . . I think i'll stop with the pictures, no matter how much I luv to post them.

As this is the second time this has happened, I thought it best if I bring this important matter to everyone's attention.
Please be very careful about where you grab an image to re-post on your threads.
It appears that innocent images are being grabbed from seemingly innocent sites. Then, after a few days, the person who originally posted the image to "Their" web page, is switching out the image with a "Not so Nice" image, using the same URL.
What happens...The Innocent image that you posted to your thread, is then automatically replaced with a "Not so Nice" image.
Again, as this is the second time this has happened within the past couple of months, I just wanted to make everyone aware of this important matter.
