Any interviews or other info with clues about what sequel to Fledgling would have contained?

I've recently read Octavia Butler's Fledgling, and it's terribly frustrating knowing that there won't be a sequel. The book definitely seems to contemplate one. Does anyone know of any interviews, articles, etc. that discuss any notes or clues that Butler left behind, indicating anything about (for example) Shori's lost symbionts?

As far as I know, Fledgling was itself a way out of the impasse when Butler could not complete the Earthseed series with a third Parable.
