Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I agree that the revelation of the Ghost's identity was anti-climatic. I almost missed and thought he was joking.

Gisela (chicadorlando) | 4022 comments I know a lot of people missed the changelings in this book. But I"m glad Singh didn't include them much. Kaleb is an intensely private person and the changelings don't trust easy. For them to be more involved in Kaleb's book it would mean lots of page time developing trust between them. I think Singh wisely chose to devote those pages to develop Kaleb's and Sahara's relationship.

I also appreciate that Singh didn't include the changelings= just to please herr readers. Sometimes when you're reading a series you see cameos of previous couples that serve no purpose to the plot, they're just there. It's like the author is saying "Oh btw, remember so and so? They're sooo happy!

I'm glad Singh only includes those characters that serve a purpose to the story.

Lauren (laurenjberman) @Gisela - That's a really good point about Kaleb and the Changelings needing to build trust and it perhaps detracting from Kaleb and Sahara's romance. I still missed them though :0(

CheekyReads | 1 comments Finished the book and i have to say i absolutely love this book.
I agree with Gisela that the absence of the Changelings helped the readers focused on the development of the two characters and 'their' love story. I think i might have a new favorite male character (sorry Judd), but how can you not love a man that strong, powerful, devoted, handsome....etc Sahara is the complete opposite of Keleb; however, she is absolutely deserving of Keleb (which i think was a very tall order for NS). The love between the characters whom are Psy (Keleb, Sahara, her father etc)help emphasize the message that love can over all things (whether or not Silence was in existence), which was previously suggested in a scene where a Phy mother blocked her daughter from getting hit my a suitcase from taking the impact herself (i can't remember which book this was) .

I am definitely looking forward to the next book especially..
- The Arrow squad (particularly Vasic)
- Sasha's development in her abilities, which was suggested in an ending of a previous book
- Lucas and Sasha's daughter
- I have a feeling the next book might be about Father

I look forward to Vasic's book too and I agree with you, I also think the next book will be the priest's story.
