Have you seen the German version Cover ? it Came out a Few months ago .I think it had an eagle on it,people were saying that this book is about one of eagle changelings. But Nalini Singh had said that do you think we would make it so obvious (or Something like that) anyway I think I just read reason for eagle wings on that cover!
I didn't know about. I don't like the UK covers for this series. Actually I think all the covers for this series are rubbish.I'm upto chapter 5 and I just discovered the heroine name. I was stumped - didn't remember her. Had to google her.
Didn't see the German cover. I figured it wouldn't be about an eagle changeling though.
Just wanted to check in with you gals, as I started reading straight away! LOL! I'm about to start Ch. 5, and still don't know her name so I'm not eading any spoiler tags until I know!
I think I'm on ch 8...about 14% in. I went to sleep around 6:30 this morning LOL right now I'm on my way to go but a new computer so I'll read when I get home.
What I want to know is how and when they met!
I'm 16% in but Hubs Just picked TODAY as his day to TALK about stuff. Now I'm sleepy and probably going to bed :(

Anyone have any idea how old Kaleb is? I know he was the youngest member of the council. Wasn't he in his late 20s when all this started?
He was 27 ,now he's 29.
Sorry, ShoSho. I was trying to make an analogy to that expression, "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach." People say that when they see food and want it all, because it looks so good. But, they can only hold so much.

I read where he said thAt. For him to be silent, he's got me swooning all over lol
I think I read page 200 and stopped , chapter 29 and I'm at work so I won't be reading until I get home.
Ash is cooking supper for us tonight, so I won't have to stop reading for that, but I'll have to take a break to go to her house and eat.

I know! I love Kaleb, he definitely joins Lucas, Hawke, and Judd as my favorite heroes in this series!
I've loved Kaleb from the beginning and he is more than living up to my expectations. I'm a sobbing mess right now as he (view spoiler)
I'm at 60% (view spoiler) Also I'd like to see him ask Judd for advice on how to cope, but I don't think he will.

I was thinking there is no one left who can be the hero of the next book and live up to Kaleb's swoony standards !
Nalini Singh has set herselfa hard task for the next book. Still I want Vasic and Aden's stories.
Have to go to the ER, my son fell and looks like he'll need stitches. :/

Little guy got 5 stitches in his eyebrow, but otherwise he's fine, thank goodness!
Awww Gisela! Give him some extra cuddles :) the last time one of my girls got stitches, I passed out LOL we were moving into our new house and Jenna's bed wasn't set up yet. She tripped and stepped in her box spring and the springs cut her foot and ankle. She was kind of hysterical at the ER screaming and whining about getting stitches and I hit the floor. When I came to, she was much calmer, worrying about me. They got her stitched up quickly after that ;) I'm at the beginning of ch 23 - 46%. I just can't stay awake anymore tonight. I'll check in here first thing in the morning ;)

@ Susan - FOFLMBO! Great way to stop your kid screaming in the ER. At least it got her mind off herself....

Poor kid tried to hide so I wouldn't see him, said he didn't want me to be sad. So of course I had to give him an extra big hug. I have one brave little man!

Another cuddle from me too, Gisela!I'm at 43% in and the charms scene was soo beautiful. I want to know more about what happened between them but a little bit scared how Sahara's reaction will be.
A small niggle but Sahara makes me think of the desert and then camels. It's better now.

I am editing my novel, have one chapter to go, then it is ready to send out to beta readers. So if I finish, I will reward myself with Obsidian. But my e-reader is sitting here, teasing me... ;)
Gislea - you are sooo right. The scene where Kaleb met Sahara are soooo cute. 75% in and Kaleb had his version of meeting her. Man! Kaleb is turning out to be moooost swoon-worthy hero ever. He's going to be a realllly tough act to follow.
