"Yes, I probably will," she said matter-of-a-factly with a smirk. Sophie frowned when she felt a sharp pain in her stomach but she dismissed it and sat down subtly. Anna leaned back in her seat so he still couldn't get it. "What's the magic word???" she asked like she was talking to a five year old.

He grinned then rolled his eyes reaching for the book "Why dont you tell me what it is?" His leg accidentally brushed against hers but he didnt notice. He was looking into her eyes trying to figure out what she was thinking but couldnt tell.
Sophie grinned at still kept the book out of his reach. "You're a boy, figure it out," she said simply. Her leg felt a little tingly for some reason when his leg touched hers... But she quickly tried to convince herself it was just like a tickle, or something. Yeah, her shin must be ticklish all of a sudden...
He smiled and then pretended to think "Is it...Youre pretty?" he tried to grab it from her but couldnt reach it his arm touched hers and it felt like a shock to him. He tried to convince himself it wasnt anything but he couldnt help thinking about it
Sophie giggled a little an tried to ignore her insides doing jumping jacks. "Close," she teased. Honestly she just wanted to keep seeing what he'd come up eith because she Didn't actually have the magic word/phrase.
He smiled and then said "I love youre giggle, its cute." then he thought some more and said "Im just gonna say a bunch of things ad you tell me if one of them is it. Youre beautiful, gorgeous, cute, adorable, fun, interesting. Am i close?"
Sophie rose a eyebrows but didn't say anything until his list ended. "Yeah, your close enough... I'll just give it to ya for the heck of it," She said and leaned in to hand it to him. Her friends were watching them in utter confusement. Why the hell was she talking to that guy of all people?
He reached for it and his fingers brushed her. He looked up at her but didnt do anything ((sry for the short post :/))
Sophie blinked and handed it to them. "Well um, talk to you later," she said and stood up, looking very composed. It was weird that she'd gone so much farther with other guys, but now she felt like she was going to blush when he just touched her hand. Sophie waked back to her table.
He stood up and said "Hey, sophie..." He wasnt sure what he was gonna say and didnt even realize what he was doing until he had already stood up

Sophie laughed a little. "Who says I already do?" she teased but then got serious and she grinned mischeviously. "What is it, hmm? You can tell me."
HE laughed and then said "Well i was wondering if leter youd let me try and guess the magic word, like after school or something" he glanced around the lunch room nervous
Sophie smirked and crossed her arms. She had this mean look on her face... of course it was fake but it looked pretty damn real. "Why not, I guess," she said in amusement.
He crossed his arms and did the exact same face she did "Well you know maybe i dont wanna," he winked at her
Sophie was surprised. People didn't usually mock her. Sophie blushed and sighed sheeishly. "Okay... well... tell me what you decide," She saw d glumly, letting him see a glimpse of her old self
When she said that he stopped immediately and stepped closer "Hey, i was just joking. I really do wanna hang with you and stuff." he thought about putting his hand on her shoulder but thought better of it "Seriously i was just kidding around with you, sorry"
Sophie nodded, quickly changing her expression back to how it usually was. "Geez, I can take a joke, babe!" she said. "Its fine. Thanks maybe we could meet up some time," she suggested, looking at his blue eyes.
He frowned knowing she hadnt been joking but said "Yea ill wait for you after school." when she turned to go back to her table he grabbed her shoulder turning her towards him and said in a voice so only she could hear him "I know you werent joking right then, if you need anything let me know." then he turned and walked back to his table sitting down
Sophie nodded. "Maybe you can help me with homework," She said and giggled a little. When she started walking away and she felt his hand on her shoulder, she froze. He... he was the first to start to break her wall. Her wall that shielded her true emotion an her not mean personality. It had gotten thicker with time. She nodded silently and hurried off.
He sat at his table not paying any attention to the conversations going on around him. He was thinking about Sophie and the fleeting moment where she seem diffrent... more real even, more vulnerable and he wished he could know why she hid herself because he wanted to help her, nomatter what the cost. He realized he didnt just like her...
After school Sophie Walked out of class. It was really really hot out. Even in her dress is was, and she had a sweater over it so she walked to the bathroom with her gym ahoets and a tight camisole. She changed in one of the stalls and fixed her hair. She hopped he wouldn't start judging her because of this.
He stopped outside the school waiting for her wondering if shed actually show up. After a little while he thought she wasnt but decided to wait anyways. As he waitied he thought about what happended during lunch trying to figure it out but couldnt
Sophie fixed her hair for a few minutes before she sighed and walked back to her locker, out her stuff away, And then she jogged outside. She stood by the door looking around, and then she spotted him.
He saw her when she walked outside glad that she did come. He thought she looked cute in what she was wearing and walked over smiling to her "Hey, so you decided to come after all"
Sophie smiled slightly at him. "Why wouldn't I?" she asked While rubbing one of her hands across her other arm. It was pretty sunny out, without clouds. Sadly it was still very very humid.
He shrugged "I dunno, maybe you had other cuter boys to talk to." he smiled and stepped alittle closer but not too close "Wanna go someplace with air conditioning or something?"
"Oh, well not today," she admitted, "though I'm just gonna put it out there that you are cute."
Sophie then nodded and sighed. "Yes, please. It's so muggy out."

He grinned when she said he was cute then said "Anyplace in particular you want to go? And need any help carrying your books or anything?"
"We could walk to go get ice cream," she suggested almost happily. Sophie hadn't had much of a childhood filled with memories of getting ice cream.... well, she hadn't had much of a childhood at all.
Then Sophie shrugged, even though her shoulders were getting sore because of her backpack. "Nah im fine."

He grinned "Yea, lets go get icecream. You can never go wrong with icecream." then he shook his head and said "No let me, no respectable gentman could let a lady carry something as ridiculous as a backpack." he winked at her trying to get a giggle, because her giggle was cute and endearing
Sophie nodded in agreement and squinted because of the bright sun. Then she looked at him and giggled. She hadn't ever considered him a funny, outgoing guy... but now he was sort of proving himself to be. Most of the shyer guys got really nervous around her. "Fine, fine," she said and smirked, taking off her backpack.
He grinned taking her backpack slinging it ove his should gently. Then he nodded in the direction of the nearest icecream parlor and said "To the cream of ice we go," he started walking that way then turned around walking backwards so he could see her. He smiled at her wondering if she was like what everyone though:mean and rude or if that was all just an act and maybe she was nice and stuff
Sophie grinned. Okay so he was funny. "Cream. Of ice? But ice isn't creamy!" she objected teasingly, letting herself loosen up a bit. Sophie make a duck face as he looked at her and then stuck her tongue out at him.

She didnt seem as mean or distant as she did at school sometimes. He smiled at the thought that she might not always be like she was at school "How dare you stick your tongue out at me! I might have to get you back for that!" he winked smirking at her

Sophie giggled a little at his wink and but her lip, not knowing what to say. Not only that, but she didn't want to ruin this... moment. Maybe he felt tension, but she didn't .
He smiled over at her and thought she looked adorable whens she bit her lip he didnt mean to but he started walkinga little closer and said "Youre cute when you do that..." he wasnt sure what he was feeling at that moment but he was enjoying just talking with her
Sophie raised and eyebrow and started blushing, for some reason. She got compliments a lot.... and yet, she was blushing At this compliment. "Oh, um, thank," she said to him with a small smile.
