message 162: by Celia (new)

Celia Cassab | 1 comments Harry potter by far

These Violent Delights (Robin) All the Harry Potter movies are awesome, but I never read the books.. The Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit movies are all awesome but I also never read their books.. Then I really REALLY adored Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, but alas I never read that book either.

I did thoroughly enjoy Catching Fire's adaptation (Not so much The Hunger Games adaptation due to a lot of missing things from the books & shaky camera). Adaptations of City Of Bones, Vampire Academy, & Divergent... really weren't that good.

With Divergent, I had to explain things for those who never read the books. It left quite a bit out & I dislike Shailene Woodley as Tris.

I did kind of enjoy If I Stay. I hated the book but the adaptation turned out to be a lot better than the book.
