I have to agree. Lord of The Rings and also all the Harry Potter movies were really good.

Harry Potter and lord of the rings are my all time favorites but I actually thought the divergent movie was a pretty adaption from the book
Of course HP, LotR, and the hobbit.I liked Now you see me, but haven't read the books.

Catching Fire and The Fault in Our Stars were pretty good adaptations, but I absolutely loved the book-to-screen transcription of The Host
All the Harry Potter movies are awesome, but I never read the books.. The Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit movies are all awesome but I also never read their books.. Then I really REALLY adored Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, but alas I never read that book either.I did thoroughly enjoy Catching Fire's adaptation (Not so much The Hunger Games adaptation due to a lot of missing things from the books & shaky camera). Adaptations of City Of Bones, Vampire Academy, & Divergent... really weren't that good.
With Divergent, I had to explain things for those who never read the books. It left quite a bit out & I dislike Shailene Woodley as Tris.
I did kind of enjoy If I Stay. I hated the book but the adaptation turned out to be a lot better than the book.
Is this even a question? Obviously divergent. :) ☝️
The Prestige, I saw the movie first and then read the book, n I liked the movie more.And The Fault in Our Stars, it is just amazing and Ansel Elgort in it is sooooo Cute !!!
Harry Potter, the Hunger Games and the Maze Runner!
This is easy since I have a favourite movie! It's called Hostage (Bruce Willis, 2005) and it's based on the book by Robert Crais
I love the Hunger Games; it's so action-packed!
THE HUNGER GAMES! It was perfection and I loved Mockingjay part 1!
Beside the absolute harry potter, I choose the maze runner and divergent!
The godfather, fight club and the harry potter trilogy

Hunger games, Harry Potter and the fault in our stars...also the help (although I haven't really read the book yet but I thought the movie was amazing.)
Catching Fire is by far my favourite. When the film is better than the book, that marks a great adaptation.
It was done a long time ago, but The Princess Bride is my absolute favorite movie from a book.
The Outsiders, The Princess Bride, & and even though it seriously cuts out half the book, the Kiera Knightley version of Pride and Prejudice!

Surprisingly, I loved the Maze Runner movie.
I read a lot of bad things about the Maze Runner movie, but I thought it was really well done
