Some people see this book as a coming of age story of Nick Carraway. It seems that Nick, although he acts as a narrator through the story,is also a character, and one who is changed by the events in the book. He realizes the dangers of obsession and the lifestyles of the rich.I wonder if he regrets his involvement and wishes he had not been a facilitator between Gatsby and Daisy.
