Linda B.D. (lindabd) | 85 comments I am so very tired of starting new books -then made to wait months or a year for the next book. Does anyone know of any series or a trilogy that is in print and completed? If you do PLEASE give me the name & author of them. Thanks Very Much!!!

Larry Names | 7 comments When I started a western series for Berkely back in the 80's, it was made clear to me that each story had to stand on its. My new time travel series is like that. The books stand alone. Tegan O'Malley and her family are the only connecting threads from story to story. If anything, one story might mention a previous story in series, but it is absolutely not dependent on it.

Brenda Clough (brendaclough) | 225 comments You could go read TIME AND AGAIN by Jack Finney. An excellent TT novel. It is a series, in that there is a sequel, but you should not read this. The sequel is terrible (written many years after the first vol.) and completely ruins the first volume. You can read just the first and be perfectly happy.

Paul (paullev) | 829 comments Well, Linda - hi! - my just published Unburning Alexandria ties up lots of loose ends in The Plot to Save Socrates - picks up right where the first novel leaves off - but I can't guarantee that there won't be a third novel at some point in the future.

Brenda, I read both, and I concur to a point. The second had some issues, but I didn't think it was terrible. I thought is was closer to mediocre. Like you, I loved the first one.

Hi Linda, Is two out of three any good? My Alex Trueman trilogy covers time-travel and a range of other issues. The first two, Caught in a Moment and Worm Winds of Zanzibar are already out there on Amazon ("Caught in a Moment" is free right now). I'm about half way through the third instalment, "Angelic Upstart",due for completion in the spring.

Paul (paullev) | 829 comments And just bopping back in here to note that The Plot to Save Socrates and its sequel Unburning Alexandria are now on sale at 38% discount at Amazon for the Kindle, or you can buy the paperback and nab the Kindle editions at 63% discount on Amazon (under its "matchbook" program). Hey, as someone pointed out somewhere, it's a little strange to have Unburning Alexandria as part of any matchbook program.

Hello Linda!

May I offer a series on time travel that is available for free on GR (in PDF format). I have already written and published six out of seven books, with the seventh and last to be published no later than this december. The first book of the series is titled Codename Athena (Time Patrol Nancy Laplante, #1) by Michel Poulin Codename: Athena. They are all fairly substantial books (between 400 and 900 pages each), so they should provide you with quite a lot of reading time. The series overall is rated 4.24 stars on GR.
