I am trying to hit 80 right now (my goal was 60) I am two books away and I think I am going to hold the rest back until next year.

I set my goal at 60 and have read 134...sometimes I even surprise myself! I give plenty of credit to the plethora of wonderful choices by outstanding authors in all categories this year. Favorites at the top of my list: AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED by Khaled Husseini and DEFENDING JACOB by William Landay.
I wanted to read 75 books this year and I'm allready in 151! so i think next year I'm going to set my goal in 200 books :)
I didn't do the 2013 challenge but I really would like to do the 2014 version. However, and I am ashamed to say this, I can't figure out where to find this! I followed the link at the beginning of this thread which took me to 2013. There were links to 2011 and 2012 but no 2014. I searched in Groups but those results didn't quite look right either. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? That said, I am sure I read more than 100 books this year so I will use that as my guide. I have some personal sub-goals too like 12 non-fiction, 12 spiritual/inspirational and 12 technical/professional.
Favorite books this year include:
The Rook - Daniel O'Malley
Clean Sweep - Ilona Andrews
Eleanor and Park - Rainbow Rowell
Daughter of Smoke and Bone - Laini Taylor
Old Man's War - John Scalzi
Making Faces - Amy Harmon
Beautiful Bad Man - Ellen O'Connell

Thanks for the advice. I will look again in a couple days then.
I'm not going to make it! I will probably be 6 or seven books off my goal unless I cheat and read short little stories hmmmm tell tale heart by Poe hills like white elephants by Hemingway....don't judge me!

I need one more and I didn't have time to read a whole book so I read Tell Tale Heart and marked it down. Do whatever it takes.
I set my goal to 50. So far i've reach 112. If i finish the midnight heir, it'll be 113. I cant wait!!!
Does anyone know if the 2014 reading challenge is available yet? I can't seem to find it? I hope goodreads will be doing it next year?
SOOO close....96 read with a goal of 100. On book #97. Now after reading a couple of novella's this evening....up to #99 :) And still one day to go!
I just finished book 50 and reached my goal with it! :) I'm very happy because for a short time I thought I wouldn't reach it ^^ Next year, I will set my goal up to 70 :)

Congratulations to everyone who finished this year's challenge! Together we have read over 22,000 books! Well some of them might be the same but collectively that's what we reached!Tell your friends and family to read more and maybe we can all up the ante for next year!
