I am catching up to my goal. At the start of the summer I was 14 books behind my goal. Now I am only 6 books behind. By the end of summer it would be great if I could be a bit ahead.

I've read 32 out of my 50, which puts me ahead by 6. Which is nice cause now that I'm working lots I'm getting less time to read.

I like to think I could get there, but realistically going to stick with my 80 for now. I am about to hit number 40. =)
My goal is set to 50 books this year and so far I'm six books behind schedule. I'm hoping I'll be a few books ahead by the end of the summer because once classes start up again I will have virtually no time to read.
I've also joined the 50 book Challenge and so far I've read 49 books. The fiftieth is Perks of Being a Wallflower and I'm liking it so far. My favourite book this year was definitely Everything is illuminated. It might even be the best book I've read so far.
I've read 60/100 so far, which is 7 ahead of schedule. I originally set 75 for the year, then changed to 100. I don't really have one stand out favourite book at the minute, but some I have loved are Sins & Needles and the Experiment in Terror series, both by Karina Halle, Magic Study by Maria V. Snyder and one I have just finished reading, Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma.

I have accepted the challenge, but started myself off at 20. I joined the challenge in June and am only counting the books I have read since then, bc honestly I can't keep track of all the books I have read previously. Since I accepted the challenge I have read 8 books (technically 3 books behind) but at the rate I'm going, I should be fine and hopefully will up the challenge!I am in the middle of 3 books...
City of Ashes
The Girl who kicked the hornets nest.
Deadlocked

Last year i almost made it to 100 this year i am aiming higher
I originally set mine to 25 but I already read more than that so I upped it to 50 :). Maybe if my class isn't so hectic, i'll try to make it to 60 :P I definitely enjoy reading and am so happy that I'm challenging myself to read as much books as I can. College is definitely hectic and since it already started last month, it's a bit harder to find time
I'm currently on book 52 of 80. I am tempted to put it up to 100, but I start university this year so I don't know yet if I will.
I am currently at 62 books of 100 which makes me 7 books ahead. I am off school at the moment and plan on going on vacation soon so I am trying to get some reading relaxing done now :). I usually read about 50 a year give or take so this is making me push my limits I hope I succeed.
I've read 96 books, only 4 more to go until I complete it again!Already upped it from 50. Will I manage 150 if I up it again?
My goal is 32 books, I'm right on schedule and will probably change it . Next year ill definitely have more time and will set my goal higher...:D
My goal is 80 (up from 50) and I've read 46 already. Hopefully I'll be able to up my goal to 100 if I get far enough ahead. Fingers crossed! ^.^
At the beginning of summer, I was 14 books behind my goal. Now I am fully caught up. I hope to be quite a big ahead of my goal once September starts because I just can't read as much while working.
I set my goal to 100 books and I'm currently at 94, deciding how much I should increase my book goal once again.

That is amazing , mind blowing!!"
Ahh so behind. Did start the reading challenge in May though. 16 out of 44. 9 books behind!Better get cracking lol.
My goal is 100. I'm only halfway because I didn't include the books I've re-read. And also, I've stopped for while because I have to review for a licensure exam, but they've postponed it. So I'm back to reading. I'm already 6 books behind.
I set my goal at 40 books, so far I've read 19-only 3 books behind schedule which isn't too bad! Its winter in Australia so hopefully spend a bit more time cuddle up by the fire with some good books! Some of my highlights so far this year are:
1)44 SCotland Street, Alexander McCall Smith - originally being from Scotland and not far from EDinburgh made this book a real terat for me - cant wait to read more in the series
2)The Emperors Edge, Lindsay Buroker - This was a move into a different genre for me - never even heard of "steampunk" before but so glad I stumbled across this series! Currently reading the second book and lots more to follow so looking forward to seeing what happens.
Not so good (In my opinion!)
1)Inferno, Dan Brown - I'm not even sure why I read this, having enjoyed Da Vinci code and Angels and Demons I felt his books went downhill from there and the Lost Symbol was particularly disappointing. Having said that, this one was even worse and safe to say, anything else he brings out will not be on my list!
2)The Casual Vacancy, J.K.Rowling - I wanted to like this book but just couldnt find any of the characters likeable at all, luckily it was quite an easy book to read so didn't take long to finish it and can now be crossed off the list!

I'm currently at eight, I believe, out of my goal of 30 or 35. I started in late May and I go back to university in September. I feel I'm doing well and I'm glad reading has, once again, become constant in my life. Also, I've read two Game of Throne books in those eight - they should count for more. NOT just because the sheer volume of pages, but because I don't particularly like his writing style. At all.
I kind of hate it. The things you'll do for your special someone!
My goal is to read 52 books this year (one a week). I'm a book ahead, so I'm happy with that progress. :)
I am in. I plan on reading about 50.
I am a little behind my goal of 30 but i still feel good that I am reading regularly again. There are so many books I want to read!!! Hopefully I'll catch up this winter when I can sit in my little reading chair under a cozy blanket with yet another great book :)
I challenged myself to read 100 books this year, but i'm a little behind. Hopefully i'll have some free time to catch up.
My goal of the year is to read 100 books. I got a late start - I only started reading again about three months into the year, so I am a little behind, but making steady progress. Yay! :)
I challenge myself to read 100 books but I think that I will have to up my goal because I'm up to 90 books read...
I'm 11 books ahead, I think I should up my number.
New to the group and thought a good first post would be to say yes I am attempting the challenge. Currently 1 book ahead schedule - aim to read 35, which will be slightly more than last year. Technically I should have far more time to complete even more books this year, but glad I didn't aim too high!
