Summer Reading Challenges

It is not sappy or gooey or anything like that. It *is* sometimes very funny and sometimes very heavy. It is also historical fiction - set in the 1980's. I absolutely loved it and I'm not a big romance person at all. I'm not picking your books or anything, I'm just saying you should give it a try ...sometime. OK, I'm done now. Sorry for the disruption.
Shrishti~Music~Psyche wrote: "It's okay, thank you for your opinion! I guess, I'll give it a try :)Julia, can you give me a Dystopia book next, like I requested?"
Sure :) how about Legend by Marie Lu?
It's been Saturday for about 11 hours now I started reading TFIOS at midnight because I haven't read since Thursday then I had to go to sleep but its really good so far I'm about 50 pages
Hey, Shrishti, did you pick any book's for Julia? I don't know if you did, but I would like to know before I send her my picks for her.
Jojiwoji, I have chosen your books for you!
I've read and loved all of the first four, but not Slammed. I've heard such good things about that book, so I think you should read it.
Shrishti~Music~Psyche wrote: "I was thinking of giving her Silver Linings Playbook and...what was the other?.....I forgot, lol."I'll give her that one and
The Reading Challenge has officially begun! I'm pretty sure most people have had their books chosen for them (and if not, then please let me know).
After you finish reading one of your books, you may post a review here if you would like to leave feedback on what you've read.
Have fun reading everyone! I know I sure will. :)
Hannah redid her list as a bookshelf and she PMed me about it.I chose her these books:

Deleted my previous choices for organisation
She did choose books for me, I'll still try my best to read Fire, Indigo Spell and Slammed, because I was truthfully very excited about those

And hopefully Hush, Hush picks up. I haven't read it, so you'll have to tell me what you think of it.
Finished
and
.I didn't much like Shatter Me, the strikethroughs and digits were annoying, BUT I absolutely LOVED Pushing the Limits! Seriously, it's an absolutely amazing book, I was crying so badly throughout T.T but there is a HEA.
Thanks so much Hannah and Kaitlin for choosing it for me, and to Hannah for choosing Shatter Me!
Will probably leave reviews later.
Hi Kaitlin. I like this challenge and would probably do it again but the short time period makes it hard for me to balance this challenge with other challenges.
Finished Warm Bodies! Really enjoyed it! Now on to my 3rd and final book: Code Name Verity. <3
And yay! Looking forward to next month!
I'll be finishing my fifth book today (Wander Dust). Then I'm going to post a review for it as well as for the previous three that I read (Let the Sky Fall, Storm, and Slide).
I finished Delirium I think I should aim higher next time
If you would like to, you can try the pick it for me challenge. It's in the same folder as this one. There really is no structure to that one. You just request someone to pick a book for you to read from a list you give.
Thanks but no thanks :) I'm just gonna try and clear up my list of series that I've started a bit so yeah I'm reading The Iron Daughter :) Are we doing another 2 week challenge this month?
Actually, I think I have a plan forming for another two week challenge for the second half of June. It would be nice to give you guys something else to do in the group (if you would want to).
Technically, no. But there really is no reason to not allow you to (the purpose of the challenge is just to enjoy reading and clean up your to-read shelves a little bit). If you want to, you can post a goal and a list of books, and I'll pick them for you. This challenge ends on Saturday.
Stephanie wrote: "ok Ill say that by Saturday my goal is 2 booksand the books I have for you are:
Safe Haven - Nicholas Sparks
House Rules - Jodi Picoult
Texas! Lucky - Sandra Brown
Vanishing Acts - Jodi Picoult

I'll pick City of Bones and Save Haven for you to read for the challenge.
