Say Hello! [Introductions]

I'm new to Good Reads and just learning my way around the site. I have a book of erotica stories co-authored with Anna Watson and an erotic romance coming soon. Happy to be here!

I just recently published my very first novella. It is scary and exciting all at once. Just like becoming a mother for the first time. And, what do you know, my kids are the reason I decided to publish. Why? Because my 6 year old wants to be Ironman, and I wanted to show him after he was told that it was impossible, that you have to make your dreams come true.
I am also an avid reader. I LOVE LOVE LOVE paranormal type books (which is funny since I write thriller/suspense, but then, when you write, you don't get a choice in what you write, your books write themselves once the words start flowing). But, as of lately I have found myself delving into other worlds and enjoying all forms of genres and books.

My name is Susan (Sue) Allison-Dean and I'm excited about this group! As a new author, support like this is so important.
My debut novel, I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, was published in the Spring of 2013. Its sequel, BY THE SOUND OF THE CROW, was published last week. I am looking for readers who love women's fiction to review it. I'm also open to direct contact on how to improve my writing.
My first novel, I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, fits in the genres women's fiction, contemporary, mother-child and romance.
BY THE SOUND OF THE CROW, although a sequel, is able to stand alone. It fits in the genres women's fiction, contemporary, mother-child, and also teen-young adult as it has a central character who is thirteen.
If you are interested in reading/reviewing it, I'm happy to send you a complimentary e-copy, just let me know what you prefer kindle or nook. If you prefer a print copy, I'm happy to send you one of those, both are available in paperback.
I look forward to getting to know the members of this group more!
Best,
Sue

Yes, I agree. writing reviews are really difficult. First, I know how invested I am in the books I write, I feel a lot of empathy for the author and want to keep it positive.
Second, I read with an author/editors eyes -- always focused on where the story is getting slow, too much internal thought, too much nonsense dialog.

I'm interested in connecting with readers and other authors.

Happy holidays!
Rich

My name is Eve. I'm an English major and books are my first and forever love <3
I am an avid reader and I am open to any genre of books really. My reviews are pretty honest when I get around to posting them :P

Looking for the roadmap. Is there one? Where do I start? Thanks!

MANY stories were produced and I hope the joys of readers can be realized. Sales is meaningless to me but knowing people might thrill and laugh and cry is a pleasure that would make me sleep well when the reaper comes for me.

I'm D.S. or Dee, if you prefer - it's actually my author name, if you don't mind. I'm a self published author looking for reviews for all of my books, in exchange for free eBooks. Plus! I don't mind finding one or two beta-readers as well. I love fantasy, paranormal, sci-fi, erotica, horror... I read a lot myself, but only when I'm not writing.

If "new and interesting" includes women and men in love (and in bed) tell me what format: MartinRinehart at gmail dot com.

I'm getting ready to self publish my first book, "Wine, Sex and Suicide - My Near Death Divorce."
I'm grateful to have this forum to get my book out to readers who will leave reviews on Amazon once it's released . . . *sigh* back to editing . .

I am glad to be part of this group.
I am a new author. A former professional wrestler, and a 3 time inductee into the United States Martial Arts hall of fame.
My novel, Legend of the Mystic Knights, is an alternate fantasy novel. The middle ages never ended, so today there are still knights. I was able to use my background in wrestling and the martial arts and utilize that experience into writing realistic fight scenes.
Thanks again and proud to be a member of the group.

its great to know you all and through this group, i hope to meet new authors.
BTW, i would love to proof read for any author. :)

its great to know yo..."

Let me know, and thanks for reading this.

Book Syno-Blurb
==============
Roman Castell, 28, is aristocratic, cultured, go-to-hell handsome, wealthy and nasty with it. He loves sex but thinks vanilla is something for a chef’s kitchen. Commitment is not even in his vocabulary unless it concerns business.
Until one May evening at the La Scala in Milan to see Puccini’s Turandot. Roman catches a brief glimpse of a woman amid the throng in the Toscanini foyer. He's obsessed at first sight. But he's soon wedged between three women: Shana (the woman he glimpsed in Milan and can't get out of his system), Marie (his "current", who is determined to lasso him back to her), and Alyssa (who falls for him hard, but whom he uses merely as a bridge to help him cross over to Shana).
But Shana seems to avoid men and Alyssa, her girlfriend since nursery school, and lover, is all the love she cares about.
Unknown to them all, the man who damaged Shana and was believed dead has risen from the dead and is determined to revenge on both "His Girl" as well as Roman or any other lover in Shana's life. Neither Shana nor Roman is aware of the mystery man being alive and stalking them. And that just as Roman and Shana are starting their precarious relationship. Do the two have a chance to develop the relationship? Will the stalker get one or both of them and execute his revenge?
I'm also looking for reviewers for my book above. BTW, Tabitha, I'd prefer a PDF copy for review, thanks. And a reciprocal review from you would be wonderful, but not obligatory.

“My empress goddess and her empire – me – were a double helix. I didn’t want some weak-willed woman slumped on her knees before me gasping a safeword anymore than my goddess wanted some insecure manipulative control freak marking her perfect body with whips, floggers, paddles, kitchen utensils and nipple clamps. That wasn’t keen and sharp enough for us – in every sense of the words.

My novel, “Aftermath,” just came out last week.
The story is a YA dystopian actioner, which follows a 16-year old girl’s struggle for survival in the wake of civilization’s collapse, and humanity’s domination by an alien race of beings.

I joined GR about a month ago, and have very much enjoyed my experience as a reader. I see here, I can merge my love of books as a writer as well.
My question is can you love an Italian (greyhound)?
If so, thanks for taking a look!
