Oh, I am buddy reading daughter of smoke and bone and the lightning thief with my friend this month anyway.

And I prefer reading book one of the Sookie stackhouse series Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse, #1) by Charlaine Harris , since I haven't read it yet, and not jump immediately to book two =P

Thank you for your help ^_^

message 102: by Nour (new)

Nour (noursharif) I have a question. When we finish the challenge, do we post the reviews in here?

message 103: by Emma (new)

Emma (theharlequinbat) I'll be reading Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West then. :)

And my picks for Brandy are either House of Leaves or The Devil Wears Prada.

You can or just post whether you liked the book or not.

message 105: by Nour (new)

Nour (noursharif) it is just so it would be known that someone finished the challenge or not. not more.

Some people post their reviews but it is not a requirement.

Thanks! I think I'll go with The Sight since I bought it ages ago and haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

Karla | 35 comments Hey Sannie!

I've got three choices for you:

Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer Easy by Tammara Webber If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman

Hope you can find one of them a good read and I look forward to what you think!

And out of your choices, I'll be reading The Iron King (The Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa , I've been meaning to start the series for a while now!

Sannie Hald (sanniehald) | 282 comments Hej Karla,

I will already be doing Easy for my Danish Group's Pick-it, so I am going to go for 'Cinder' and if I have time, I will read 'if i stay' too..
Thanks!

Happy Reading

No problem. That happens to me too.

Okay, I have three choices for you this time:

Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
I keep coming back to this, but a certain review freaked me out. So, if you don't feel up to it, I picked two more.

Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand or Before I Die by Jenny Downham

Hope you like one of these!

PS - I'm so excited to read the book you picked out for me! :D

I hope you enjoy it. I will admit I found it harder to read than Firebringer but in some ways enjoy it more (I prefer Wolves to Deer). I'll be interested to see if you liked it as from what I gather from this site it has rather mixed reviews.

Carina | 258 comments Becca wrote: "Ok! When I get to my computer in a little bit I'll give you some more :) thanks!"

Hey, so had a quick look through your shelf and got some options for you :D

Angels and Demons - the best in my opinion out of the original two Robert Langdon books (I haven't read the two latest)

The Laughing Corpse - Anita Blake books are rather love or leave but the early ones are worth reading!

Assassin's Apprentice - not read this but know good things about the author.

So yeah, hope you like one of them. When you pick for me I do not have a dedicated shelf just the normal to-read one :D

Although I don't think it was a *great* book it did well to make me want to find out what happens next which doesn't always happen with this kind of book.

My apologies for not getting these choices to you earlier. I've been away from home for a number of days.

Anyway, I have chosen 5 different books for you. I hope you'll be able to find one you like and want to read.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy (I'm still reading this one and really enjoying it. I hope you do too.);
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell ;
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden (I loved this book);

Yeah it was a good pick - it was different to a lot of the other YA out there (which TBH I kind of feel I am getting fed up with!), considering it is part of a series it may be that although I rate the individual books as 'ok' the series overall gets a better recommendation!

Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles, #2) by Marissa Meyer This looks really good :)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Text and Criticism by Ken Kesey This has been on your list the longest so I thought you might need a push :)

The Color Purple by Alice Walker I've seen the movie for this one and it was really good so I've been wanting to read the book myself! Maybe if I could get ahold of it we could do a buddy read (if not this month than eventually :))
