I just finished re-reading this and for sure Warner! he has his issues sure but he loves Juliette and he admits to his flaws. And you see him grow and change throughout the series and i love that. Warner is very real

In the first book I was team Adam for sure (since Warner was a bitch at the time) but after Destroy Me I was SO TOTALLY ON TEAM WARNER. Ignite Me Adam is SO HORRIBLEEE! LIKE STOP BEING SALTY JUST BC SHE BROKE UP WITH YOU LIKE TWICE - YOU ALMOST DIED! AND THE FACT THAT HE CALLED HER STUPID MULTIPLE TIMES- i can't. So yeah, Warner forever.

adam is so corny omgggg, he's definitely better for juliette, but i can't handle his savior complex and his basic character format. i'm a sucker for warner because i love it when authors really stretch human morality and personality in their characters.
Warner all the way. Adam was always nervous being around her. Adam would save the world at Juliette's expense while warner would sacrifice the world for Juliette. Warner has never been ashamed of Juliette while Adam was either embarrassed or scared to be with her.

Unpopular opinion but nether. Adam is sweet and kind but Juliette hurts him too much. It's unsafe. And Warner is just plain terrifying.

If you're team Adam you are WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! I don't care what people day about how Aaron acted at the beginning of the series and in Restore Me- AARON WAS WILLING TO DIE FOR ELLA! ADAM WOULD NEVER! Adam wanted a girl Ella wasn't, but appeared to be because she was so traumatized and naive. I just love Aaron, and I'm probably biased because he's my book boyfried 4 LIFE! But... yeah... EDIT: Not me two seconds later realizing that all of these comments are from 2013 ...
I swear, anybody who chooses Adam needs help..... I get that in the FIRST BOOK, Aaron was kinda horrible.. But i mean- Nobody can fully like whole-heartedly say that Adam was a better boyfriend. NOBODY CAN. He sucked, not to mention his whole melodramatic breakdown in Unravel Me when Ella broke up with him even though she literally said that it was because she didnt wanna hurt him. Like DUDE if he cared about her at all, he would have accepted it and been grateful that she cared enough about him to put distance to KEEP HIM FROM HURTING. I never liked Adam, so maybe I'm biased, but he needs to work on himself before even attempting to get into another relationship. Cough cough, *Alia* cough cough. He really really needs help if he thinks he so special that when he gets broken up with, he screams at the person and acts like he owns her- The ONLY reason they were even together was because Ella thought he was cute, and was excited that she could touch people. Or, touch one person at least. But seriously?!? Team Adam people are the kind of people that make me wanna take a nap in a road. He's ungrateful for everything Ella did, and only ever seemed to care about her when he was doing his JOB int he asylum. He NEVER really cared about her. He was there for the sex, thats it. <3 Love this fandom but the team Adam ppl need genuine help..
I think there will be some spoilers in this I honestly never EVER liked Adam he really felt like he was so I love with the scared girl he first meets but Warner...he is shown as the villain at first but we all love a good enemies to lovers and Aaron was always supportive and in a weird way kind he honestly reminded me of Cardan(cruel prince). but I almost DNF the book and one of the reasons was Adam like their "love" is later explained by Juliette and that's what I felt all the way two very sad people trying to find some peace in this world in conclusion I am team Aaron till the day I die

Generally neutral, but strongly leaning towards Warner. Something about Adam just doesn't sit right with me (and, also, I have the Barnes and Noble Edition, which includes Warner's novella: he's really nowhere near as evil as Adam makes him out to be)

Personally, I prefer WARNERRRRR. I feel like Adam and Ella only ended up together in the first book because they both had no other options. He isn't a bad character, but Warner truly fits with Ella perfectly.
Well, I've read every single book in the shatter me series, at first (book 1) I was team adam because warner just seemed like the most ruthless, cruel, rude book boy I've seen. Then the banter between the 2 just got my hopes up and I switched to team warner. Best choice ever.
