ABANDONED. Young Adult Fairytale with a twist and depth (think prince is a shapeshifting wolf)

Okay so all I really remember is more the end. So the setting isn't modern(like a regular fairy-tale, at first i thought it was a retelling of beauty and the beast meets the frog prince meets Cinderella but maybe not.) The ending though was what made me really love the book i think. So I think the heroine gets married to the king/prince and finds something out like the night of their wedding. She leaves and hides herself away from him by working at a tavern for i think a few months. He eventually finds her and they make up and stuff. I know it's not a lot but the book made me so happy please help.
