Hi! I'm Macy from It's a Book Thing blog. I love reading and reviewing! My favorite books probably are Impulse by Ellen Hopkins, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and the Twilight Saga, which I'm sure needs no further introduction :)
Hello lovelies! *waves*I'm Desiree and I'm a soon to be Indie author! *falls over* I love all genres in general, but first started becoming a book slut (its true ladies, you know it ;) when I got ahold of my first Sandra Brown book ^.^
Hi, my name is Martha of Sacramento,CA and as a few have mentioned on here, I recently (2011) started reading again and now am completely addicted/obsessed with books. My favorite books are War & Peace, David Copperfield, Moby Dick, Wuthering Heights, Tuesdays with Morrie, Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn and Little Women. I feel like I could be a "hoarder" of books if left on my own without guidelines. I am at Barnes & Noble every chance I get and the "high" that comes over me is scary. Hoarding -- I get it! I want that new book to smell, to touch and then to immerse myself in and escape into excellent writing.
Hi everyone,I'm Leslie and I'm the mother of three. I live in the Greater Houston area with my mother and two of my daughters. Thank you for inviting me to the group.

I'm so glad that we have such a diverse group of book lovers here. I'm sure we can learn a lot from each other.
Regards! I am a Denver-based mystery writer and long-time book reviewer. I keep a blog here: http://markhstevens.wordpress.com/ and I'm an Amazon Vine reviewer as well as Goodreads poster (of course). I love mysteries of all varieties, but especially if the writing is as good as the plot. What do I mean by that? I have no real idea. I also love big solid thougthful novels -- you the know, the kind of books that just "end" without a real "end." My mysteries are "Antler Dust" and "Buried by the Roan," both about Allison Coil, a female hunting guide in Colorado. Book #3 in the series is on the way. "Buried by the Roan" was a 2012 Colorado Book Award finalist.
Hi everyone! I'm Liv and I'm from Canada. Hello all.I love reviewing books and reading good reviews as well. One of my GR friends said that nowadays, reviews have more gifs than how the reviewer feels.
Well, I feel that I like to write honest reviews. Sometimes I try to be more concise or brief with my responses and/or reactions, but other times, I do go into depth.
My favorite female character of all time is Elizabeth Bennett, and of course that would make Austen one of my favorite classic authors. I think many of the classics built the foundations for many characters invented today, just as oral tradition and legend paved the way for the classics.
My reading preferences run the gambit, but everything hinges on my reading moods. No matter what, reading is as much of an escape as it can be much needed therapy, and sometimes it is a study:)
Happy Reading, people!
Good morning all! (or afternoon, evening, night, depending on where you are in the world and what time it is when you trip across this)I'm Jonel and I just found this group and it sounds quite interesting.
I love reading, and reviewing them tends to come naturally from that. I have a soft spot for romance & fantasy, but enjoy reading almost anything (except horror and textbooks).
When I'm not reading (and sometimes when I am) I enjoy playing with my dog & my cat. I also feel weird filling out the intro posts in new groups. It's like walking a fine line between simply saying 'hi' and ending up with a post that looks like a dating website's profile. lol
