Every once and a while it is a great idea to look at some genres that you normally do not read. For me it was classics yours might be different. I encourage each and every one of you to set a reach (a goal of a genre that you normally don't read that you are going to read) Everyone's reach may be different. I hope that you can all share you reaches so that we all may encourage and help complete everyone's reach goals.
To Kill a Mockingbird is a book that has changed alot of peoples way of looking at the world today. I encourage everyone to at least try it! If you love it GREAT we'd love to hear why! If you hate it we would also like to hear why. There is nothing better than discussing a book with people that have also read it.
The more participation there is in comments and discussion of books, the funner it wil be for everyone! :D

Just finished To Kill a Mockingbird a few days ago, I have to say that it was well written. If we had not had the beginning as it was the ending would not have made any sense. At the beginning I found the book quite slow. We were basically getting to know the characters and their lifestyle. We also got an idea of how life was like in that time. The trial for me was a bit confusing at times, but after reading it over a couple times it made more sense. I was quite surprised at the end that even though the trial found him guilty most of the people in the community did not think that. It brings me to think, how many other people in the world know something is wrong and unjust but keep quiet. What would happen if the people would have spoken up? Why didn't they?
