Was anyone else disappointed?

I was super excited for this book, but after I read it I was disappointed. I felt like there were two completely different books in there, one where the seeker is the problem and the second was Nikki's past and of course, Vessler. I wanted more details on both stories, but since it was one book, I was disappointed.

I loved it! I hope it isn't the last one. It probably is, which is sad. I just don't understand why she chose Mace, to be honest I would have taken Raven the first time I saw him.

The author does answer some important questions about the series and whether or not she will continue it over at Examiner.com
Personally I enjoyed the series because they are quick, fun reads with a highly important message in them. My favorite character is Raven also. Not because he is a "bad" boy because he is a boy trying to be free.

The only disappointment is that the book ended. I wanted to know what came next.
