I wore Chucks when they weren't main stream and I have some fucking awesome ones. There used to be a store in the Old City in Knoxville and they sold specialty shoes and off the wall....I have a pair that are platforms...One of kind :) I'll post a pic sometime!

Kuddos to you! I was sexually active at a very young age and lets just say that if I'd had a child at 16 it would have been a disaster... I've only read Forbidden...I have very mixed feelings. I thought it was totally depressing for one...it needed more funny... Then it made me feel like a total pervert because I so wanted them to hook up. Of course I felt like Lokie (God love his heart) was off his rocker from the get go and I didn't think it would end well. I prefer an HEA. The one favorite of mine that gets a pass on that is The Great Gatsby. I think Gatsby is one of the most beautifully tragic characters in all of literature :) You probably haven't read any of my favorites. I'm so old and all :)
I didn't know Slammed and Point of Retreat had new covers. My personal opinion is that it's pressure from her publisher. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I don't want to look down on her in any shape form or fashion so I'm blaming on her publishers.
