Hello. I'm Rosalind Minett. I joined the History Group to learn rather than inform, my history being inadequate for my writing needs. I hope the many erudite writer/readers I see here will be able to help with history queries. Otherwise, I am dipping into posts which intrigue. Present areas I'm particularly interested in are Armenia, and Britain WW2 Home Front.

Hi my name is Tracy. I live in Portland, Oregon, USA. I noticed that my book was mentioned in this group, then realized after checking it out that there are lots of reasons I should join. I'm a history/lit nerd and love to be in the company of others with similar interests. I research contemporary British literature, Oregon's Native American history and art, Portland's history, the musical influences of the American south, magazine illustrations from the 1940s-1960s, etc.

Hi Everyone!My name is Tiffany and I am from the United States. I joined this club in order to expand my history reading list and meet new people along the way. I have a B.S. Degree in Biology and am currently working on an M.S. Degree in Public Health. I work as a QC Lab Tech at a pharmaceutical company in Indiana. I usually read books in the horror, thriller, suspense, sci-fi, classic, and of course history genre. However, I am open to any book that might interest me. Hi. I'm Adam. I am a doctor just out of residency in Des Moines Iowa. After all the medical and science I've read over the past 10 years I am downing as much history as possible. I love to read on Prohibition Era Organised Crime, WWII European theater, and have reciently started reading more about the Nazis and the Holocaust. I have gotten a little into Ancient Rome, and Renessance Italy. I am wanting to read more on Islam, Cold War espionage, and Ancient Egypt. I look forward to exploring all the areas of this group and everyone's suggestions.

Hi everyone, my name is Adam. My love of history started when I was kid and has continued to this day. I studied US history in college and wrote my senior paper on the women who worked in the Kaiser shipyards in Richmond,CA in WWII. My name is Eric. I've only recently honed my interest in history, mostly focusing on science and recent (last few hundred years) political history such as the fall of monarchs, the Ottoman Empire during we I and even earlier, the ldecrease of the popes political control throughout Europe when countries converted from Catholicism. On the science side, I just read a great book about Isaac Newton's job as warden of the London mint in Newton and the Counterfeiter.
