My name is Linda, and I live in Southern California.

My primary interest is genealogy/family history; and this research requires knowledge of history to find out why my ancestors did the things they did when they did them.

While my interest is mostly north American history, I am also drawn into European history. Lately, I have become especially interested in the history of France, but I also need to know more about the UK, Germany, and Russia. The more I learn, the more I want to learn; and I love the paths to which I'm being lead.

My name is Matthew. I live outside of Washington D.C. in Bristow, VA. I am a graduate student at George Mason University and an adminstrative office assistant at the American Historical Association. I am trying to focus my studies on the United States in the late 19th century. I am interested in social, cultural, economic, racial and political history. Hi! My name is Kathryn and I'm an American expat living in London. I've had a love of history since I was a child and in college I earned a degree in history. While my professional life is far removed, I am able to celebrate my love of history through books and travel.

I love to read about European history the most, but sometimes I get side tracked by other areas of the world. Recently I've been on a bit of a kick of reading about the women who shaped our world, like Eleanor of Aquitaine.
