Hi there, I have a novel that takes place in medieval times. There is romance in it, but iit's not the center of the book. There is also adventure and action, as well as some humor. I would love to have your opinion if you are interested in reading it.

L.M. May (ellem_lmmay) | 1 comments Hi, I'm looking for beta-readers for the first book in my new YA series, Silverlighters.

It is part romance, part mystery. The first book has hints of paranormal elements which are more fully explored in book 2. Book 1 is approx 45 000 words.

If you think you might be interested I have started a thread here

Aarati | 6 comments Hey, I'm Aarati. I've just signed up to beta read LM's book. I'm new at this, but I would love to do it. I'm a literature student and I think that might help me with it if not anything else. I love to read paranormal, urban, romance, YA. Actually anything with romance I love. And obviously I LOVE to read. So let me know, if you need my help. I'd love to do it. Not to mention it's a win-win situation, considering how I get to read a new book and the author gets an honest opinion. :)

Camille (theanonymousse) | 1 comments Hello!

I just want somebody to proof read the first chapter of my very first novel. I am not really good in writing but I really want to learn. I am very open to honest feedback/criticism and I just want to know if I have the qualifications to become a writer. :)

Rupali Rotti | 5 comments Camille, being an author, my opinion is that anyone can become a writer if one has perseverance. Even more than practice, one should have patience and drive. As I always preach, 'It’s easier to break your will when you don’t have a purpose to go on.' So find your purpose and don't be disheartened, no matter what.

Rupali Rotti | 5 comments Btw, does anybody like detective thrillers here? I'm writing an amateur detective series where the detectives have started their career as boys, and learn with every (official and unofficial) case they handle. The first book has been published, I'm looking for beta readers for my 2nd.

Here's a short introduction to this 2nd book:

Raj & Sandy are brothers and aspiring detectives who have recently solved their first case successfully and are eager for their next. They are approached by their mentor, a detective. He thinks that a few incidents which have recently occurred are related to each other, but has no way of proving it. Being short on departmental support & resources, he wants the boys to help him out with a seemingly risk-free assignment. However, their sleuthing reveals that this case is about terrorists who have lost something important and its a race about who finds it first. Eventually, things go out of hand and a sinister plot threatens to play itself out.

This is the story of these two teenagers, a child-actor whose mother gets murdered, and a poor trucker who will do anything to rescue his love from the muck of prostitution.

Tell me if this interests you. My email id is: mau5779rupali@hotmail.com.
