Unhinged ARC request form
I apologize if I'm throwing things off track, but if you get approved an ARC, when can you expect it to arrive-- not an exact date, of course. Just ballpark when the publisher will send them out.Being the forgetful person I am, I couldn't remember if completing the ARC request would give you more or less the date when the publisher would send you the book. (and to think, I just sent it in an couple hours ago. *facepalm*)

LOL. No problem. I don't know the exact date, but they told me we'd have ARCs early fall. So I'm thinking Aug-Oct? One of those months... I'll be sure do a post here on the fan page when I get my box of ARCs. Yours will be coming a few weeks following that if you were selected to receive one.

I'll admit though, I'm quite starstruck. This is the first time I've ever talked to an author of one of my favorite book series, then the very thought of the author talking back to me ...
*shakes off giggly happy fangirl-ness* Sorry for that. It's not very often that this happens to me.
I honestly like what you do, with the author getting in touch with all their fans so that the fans truly enjoy the book because the author gets the whole first hand of what they'd like to see. Keep it up! :D

But the trouble is, between doing PR for the books and writing to deadlines for my editor, I never have time! Right now I'm taking off a week just to read a few books because I've missed reading so much and my TBR tower is toppling dangerously. :)

Oh, the never-ending TBR tower. I feel your pain!! Trying to get through that is a hard, perilous journey indeed :)
I have a nightmare tbr list also, I find myself reading about books more often then actually reading a book. Don't they give you a street team for all that? I'm sure lots of people would do it for free

I just started reading "Splintered" again, all this talk made me want to be back there now, so I've left my cat to defend our palace, & my fiancé to play chess with himself. I'm hanging with netherlings.
Same. And I was reading something else at first. I couldn't help myself though. Splintered was just good enough for me to want to look at it again.
I had just finished "Paper Valentine" & I was going to read one of the ridiculously huge number of tbr pile but with all the "Creativity" going on I figured I want to make a splintered dress so when Unhinged comes out I can make a purse , accessories to celebrate the day! What better to get the ideas flowing than rereading it? I have this awesome old broken mirror, it's C.R.E.E.P.Y. I think it will make a perfect beginning for the dress.
I'm so excited you're both rereading it! YAY. :) And Clare, I used to sew when my daughter was young. I would love to see pics of the dress and accessories when you finish!

I WANT TO DO THAT SO BAD. But my ARC has been kidnapped by my friend. When it returns I am going to feast my eyes on Jeb. LOL.
Totally! You think I'm going to design an entire dress & full accessories & not show it to all the people (even the author) who will get it!! I'm to much of a compliment whore for that lol. The first unveiling will be to you guys :)

It's creepy how real it seems these character's are coming. I'm lying, I always feel like characters from books I love are real. They're usually so much better than what the world has offered:)
