I agree. Maxon and America both cheated on each other. (Sorta.) They made the same mistake. It's even now.

But still it was a low point for me. America cheating with Aspen. Aspen putting her in danger then Maxon and Celeste. I could go on for hours about how Maxon and America screwed up.

urgh. I feel totally mean saying this but this whole triangle has been a really ugly mess to be honest and I really hope that America actually deserves to end up with Maxon in the end of The One. I AM TEAM MAXON, but I feel like he deserves better than someone who is seeing someone else behind his back ya know. And Aspen. I don't hate the guy I really don't, he just loves America and first loves always stick with you but he just thinks of her the way she was before the selection and I guess doesn't really see that she's changed/changing and starting to have more faith/confidence in herself and Maxon is the best person to bring those traits out in her so if she does choose Aspen she'll just be a three and him a two. If she chooses Maxon and she actually deserves him at that point it'll be better for everyone involved including the united states of china. I hate Celeste with a vengeance and think that Kriss has ulterior motives too and yeah I definitely think the king knows more than he's giving away right now. but ultimately Maxon is by far the best character and America needs to get a grip and make a decision for once.
I hope America ends up with Maxon because I think he brings out the best of her. I think Aspen holds her back. But I think in The One America won't really talk to Aspen in it because at the end of The Elite she basically said I choose Maxon. so yeah... If you can't tell by now I'm TEAM MAXON!! I can't wait for the book. All of our questions will be answered. Anyone else hope Kiera Cass writes about America being a princess if she get's picked?

After I read all those comments I'm prepared that America will end up with Maxon... Hm. I have to think about it.Well, probably it has to be Maxon 'cause he's the reason for the Selection. But I'd be really sorry for Aspen. I like him a lot. At least he's authentic. But that America can't find a solution confuses me, too. That's why I'm not sure which Team I'm in.

I feel sorry for him I'm a maxon fan. But I like that he is willing to keep fighting, I hope he and America remain close friends by the end of it.

There is a new book coming out about Aspen, maybe after reading it everyone's views will change about the ship. Maybe because we haven't really got to know Aspen that well. I'm still Maxon all the way!

I think it will almost certainly be Maxon. Think about it. Why would she spend three books to end up right back where she started? I mean, the government will change (come on now, it's dystopian, no one really thinks we'll end up with the castes at the end, right?) But there's no reason for her to spend three books thinking over everything, only to end up in the same relationship at the end. I personally don't like Aspen, but I can see both sides of the argument.

When? I don't remember her making a decision throughout the Elite I love Aspen, I can't trust Maxon It drove me insane. Book two I feel made a disservice to America to me she came of kind of selfish. And I think who ever posted that this was Americas Selection was right on the mark. I hope the the Selection ends at the end of Chapter 1 in the next book. I'm a loyal fan to ms Cass. I know there is also fan-fiction but what was the point of the three books if all she does is go back to Aspen. I wonder will Maxon get wounded or something and that it will force her to see Maxon is the right guy for her.

America continuously doubted herself in the Elite. If ASPEN is end game? ONE BOOK WOULD HAVE DONE! AND AS A WRITER I'd be disappointed in Ms Cass. Maxon has been hurt too many times because America needed more TIME TIME TIME! I think I screamed at the book. MAKE UP YOUR DAMNED MIND! I love the books though.

That love triangle was difficult to keep up with at times, and this one with America and Maxon and Aspen is so easy. Why would we have this whole Selection if she doesn't end up with the prince? It is a great plot device to get insight into this dystopian world, but it would feel like a HUGE WASTE to make a beautiful series and have America choose the obviously wrong guy. The Selection is pretty much built around America and Maxon's relationship. Aspen's presence at the castle still confuses me to no end. He is so frustrating. Team Maxon forever.

I heard something from Christine (polandbananasbooks) that maybe America's dad is in on the rebellion because after she told him about that book he just took off and she didn't see him (and the rebellion really likes dem books)

I think that her father is a former rebel and that he married her mother but when he saw how maxon was like America did in the selection I think he wants America and Maxon together as they can fix the country
