When authors are their own worst enemy...
It's sad but anyone can self-publish basically anything these days, which is both good for indie authors because they can take control over their books and careers but mistakes like this that run rampant make *some* of the book-buying public think that most self-pubbed titles will be similarly unpolished.
Personally I'm more disturbed that a character is named Crosco than anything else in that description. :p

"Crosco is a young child that is turned to evil when he near dead after being shot the Devil helps him make a deal to save his life."
Why would I even bother reading a book that has this piss-poor of a book description! Come on Amazon! How about a little quality control?
1 STAR

I had to give up heavy drinking when I got married and had a kid. Stamp collecting just isn't going to cut it!

Damn, I just did too! I didn't want to have to go that far. I think I just pulled a brain muscle!

I think this may be a situation where our mothers would be ashamed of us for poking fun.
Either way, he'll likely be getting a take down notice here shortly, as rumor has it that Amazon is telling authors that they need to lengthen books less than 2500 words or their works will be removed from the site. All of Moody's books are less than 10 pages in length, from what I can tell.

Honestly, I'd have to wonder if this guy is actually ten or twelve years old just from the spelling and grammar. Not to mention how short ALL these books are.
On second thought, maybe this is one of those terrorist cell operations and the books are written in code with instructions for other cells on when to strike?

'To start from the begging I was a child who could see spirit’s good and evil. But the first time I encountered a spirit it was evil. I thought it was a good spirit because it was in the form of a little girl an as we all know a little girl can look so incent. As I was talking to her. She ask me to let her in? Being a child and not knowing any better.'

"A hero is born through darkness and light born half vampire and half angel named Vangel"
This is what happens when kids are brought up believing they can do no wrong...

Wow...atrocious. See, this is why I still have a chip on my shoulder about self-publishing. I know that there are some very talented writers out there self-publishing, but I don't want to wade through crap like this to find it.

I can't put a link in through this GR app, but it's easily found at the Kindle store on Amazon. Check it out and don't forget to" Look Inside" !

This is from the sample:
'I Once dated this girl named Donna. That I met off an 800 chat line! We chatted on and off for a few days. She seemed to be idea woman for me. So I gave her a chance. We decided to meet up at a local mall. I was nervous about meeting her. I hadn’t been with nobody in over a year. On the phone she seemed to be intelligent and down to earth. But little did I know this would turn out to be the worst date or dates. ( Yes there were more than one.) And I can explain as follows.'

Literally. That is all it takes.

Considering this fact, I think I'll go ahead and publish my self-help book of erotic supernatural horror soon. It's called "My Sores Are Not Catching."

I also browsed the other works of the person that wrote "Donna eats dogs" and he has one book published which is just a collection of cut and paste from websites. Granted, it probably reads a bit better than his other works, but again, he's not doing the rest of us any favors.

I'd not heard that theory. It would be funny if it were true. It certainly wouldn't be hard to pull off.

"Crosco was left as kid to fend for himself breaking into house to find food, water just to survive as he get's in one house the owner of the house catches him and shoot's Crosco in the stomach left for dead after running from the owner he has to make a deal with the devil."
SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT!

But his name is still Crosco... [cringe]

"During the conference, the conferees recognized Galveston native Robert L. Moody for his personal crusade to advance brain injury research by making him the first honorary recipient of the prize named after him, established by the University of Texas Medical Branch in his honor. Mr. Moody has actively supported brain injury research since his son, Russell, was seriously injured in a car accident in the early 80s. He encourages scientific investigation through his own financial contributions and those of the Moody endowment and the Moody foundation. The Moody Endowment established a distinguished chair in cognitive rehabilitation (The Russell Shearn Moody Chair) at UTMB in Russell Moody’s name."

This only goes to prove that there are way too many "authors" out there who just won't come to terms with the fact that it actually takes skill to write and not everyone can do it. Give up the dream and do something more suited to your abilities. Leave writing to those who know how.

"Crosco is a young child that is turned to evil when he near dead after being shot the Devil helps him make a deal to save his life."
Really? Yeah, sign me up for that one! I almost want to download the book just to give it a 1 STAR rating for the book description. I'm pretty sure the text of the book won't be too far different from the description!
