WoW! I could not stop reading this book. I had to find out what happened. I thought the characters were rich (even though they were meant to be iconic of the author's philosophy.)
I confess that I skimmed through the bulk of the speeches (they were repetitive, but since they were directed toward different characters I forgave it), nonetheless, I loved this story.

This was a fun collection of short stories all originally published in the '50s and '60s. I picked this book up at my library's book sale for 50 cents and it was well worth the price :)
