Does anyone else think it is wrong that Jace kisses Clary even though they are brother and sister?

Nonetheless, I don't really have a thing against incest (only when it happens in books, not in real life) as long as there's the tangible chemistry. For Jace and Clary, they have to show more chemistry because I think it's lacking.
Jace should show more gestures, but I love how open and stubborn he gets. It's totally adorable. It makes sense, though, because Jace did say I thought that part of me was damaged. That being his capability to love. He might still be adjusting to the bizarre emotions and things that surges through him like the heart-pounding thingy going on so let's give him time.
Clary, on the other hand, has to put herself out there. Luke and she were just talking about how they should make their feelings known. I was annoyed when she just kept what she should have said to Jace towards the end of the book. I think she was just being selfless, and maybe she thinks that was better for everyone especially her mother?
That's my hunch, but I'm yet to read City of Glass and I really hope things start looking up for these two because I love love love them.

(That's all I'll tell you, or else I'll spoil everything....)"
Well, you are kinda spoiling it already, because your comment clearly imp..."
just shush and read, you'll be at peace then

But it still made me queasy. I liked book one. Book 2 was passable. Book 3 got annoying but ok. Book 4 I skimmed read - it just tanked after that.

So are you saying that Clary and Jace should ignore convention and blood ties because they are in love? So, if you had a brother/sister whom you may not have known was your brother or sister, but because you already loved or had deep feelings for, you would still date and possibly marry in the future?

i have an idea like that i've been kicking around for a long time. Where the "destined hero" gets killed and his sidekick has to save the world and unlike many stories you don't find out that the sidekick was the hero all along and just never knew it. Everything would be doable. They would save the world but it would be 10 times harder than it should have been. Possibly with killing off of main characters and switching viewpoints. It's a complex idea and I'm no author but I would like to see it happen one day.
