ok i did finish it, i'm a bit disappointed that (view spoiler)[he was just a corporeal ghost because like ...we literally knew that from the very beginning? i mean there was no real mystery aspect to it from the reader's point of view. i was trying to figure out who the 'host' was for most of the time but there was not actually anything figure out so it's kind of like 'what was the point then'.

also dreading the love triangle that was introduced towards the end. i mean obviously jericho doesn't like mabel so it's not even an option but i know mabel's gonna pitch a fit and that's like my least favorite plot device. (hide spoiler)]

anyway it was decent overall, definitely a bit too long for me [and i don't feel like it NEEDED to be that long, like a lot of it seemed like padding] but i'll probably read the next one, although i'm not really in any hurry to do so.

I think I'm gonna start the 2nd one in a month or so, should be a good audiobook to listen to on vacation.
