Def: Seals a door. In the Ministry (HP 5), this one gets used a lot. One example is when Harry, Luna, and Neville are trying to seal off the Brain Room (the one with the brains in the tanks) which the Death Eaters are trying to get into. They race around the room shouting 'Colloportus!' until the Death Eaters get there first.
"Collo- aaaaaaaaaargh..." (Luna) This is pp. 796-797.
Also, this is an addition to Accio that I don't think is in the Book of Merlin:
Technique: Say Accio + (the object you want). Just saying Accio doesn't work.

Fidelius Charm
Keeps a secret very, very well. The Secret is entrusted to a Secret-Keeper. The Secret-Keeper can share the Secret with anyone else. If the Secret-Keeper dies, the people who they shared the Secret with become the Secret-Keepers.
Example: Dumbledore was the Secret-Keeper of 12 Grimmauld Place. When he died, the entire Order of the Phoenix became Secret-Keepers along with all the Weasleys, Hermione, and Harry.
The earliest USE of it in the Harry Potter saga (not earliest mention) was when *spoiler* Lily and James Potter entrusted the location of their house to a Secret-Keeper, Sirius Black. Then, they made Peter Pettigrew the Secret-Keeper instead. Pettigrew proceeded to tell Voldermort the Secret and Voldemort then went to the Potters' house, killed them, and attempted to kill Harry.

Def: Appears to launch small objects through the air, though it was only ever used on a wad of chewing gum. Seen/Mentioned: Used only once through the series, and that was by Professor Remus Lupin, who attacked a poltergeist with a wad of chewing gum, using this spell.
Notes: This spell may be the Placement Charm, or else the Oppugno Jinx

Description: Magnifies the spell caster's voice when one's wand is pointing to the side of the caster's neck.
Seen/Mentioned: By Ludo Bagman in 1994 at the beginning of the Quidditch World Cup and by Albus Dumbledore several times in the Triwizard Championship. Used by Lord Voldemort several times during the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998.
Notes: The counter-spell is Quietus. In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Cornelius Fudge simply holds his wand to his throat while speaking, it is possible that he has performed a Nonverbal spell.
