Who is your favorite couple?
My favorite are Kate and Curran from Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series. I guess, technically, they're not a couple but I have high hopes for future books! :)
Haha, indeed. Besides, Ilona posted on her blog that the next book would have "smex" and it had better be between Kate and Curran...I love all of the couples listed and would like to add Mercy & Adam from Patricia Briggs' Mercy Thompson series and Jaz and Vayl from Jennifer Rardin's Jaz Parks series.
Can I but in and nominate Sookie Stackhouse and Eric.
Clorinda, you can nominate Sookie and Eric, and I will gladly second your nomination. Of course, I don't really care who Eric's with as long as I can keep reading about him.

I've noticed all the couples listed so far have a bit of humor to their relationship.
I'll third Sookie & Eric. And I love Mercy & Adam. I think the humor makes the couples feel more real.
I also like Astrid & Zarek from DHs. I laugh everytime I think of their kid, Bob. I always imagine Astrid with one eyebrow raised in chastisement.
Oh, Queen Betsy and Sinclair. Talk about opposites attract!
I don't know if I can pick one... hmmm maybe Aisling and Drake (Aisling Grey series). They are pretty awesome together.I also love Talon and Sunshine (Dark Hunter series) and Tabitha and Val (Dark Hunters).

I think I like all of the DH relationships and I could not choose. Totally forgot about Besty and Sin-clair and Aisling and Drake.
Oh and another one Eidolon and Tayla. I liked them quite a bit.
I like Sookie and Eric and I am keeping my fingers crossed they will get a HEA
Cat and Bones (Nighthuntress series), Tayla and Eidolon (Demonica series), and Dorian and Ashaya (Psy-changeling series). Michael and Alex (Darkyn series) are slow starters, but I love the potential.
I would choose Zsadist and Bella. They each overcame something just to be together.
Oh I forgot about Wraith and Serena.. they were a nice fit!Then there's Gabriel and May from the silver dragons (Katie Macalister) series. That ones not finished yet, but they better get an HEA ending!!!
oh and on the subject of Katie Macallister, Pia and Kristoff better also get a HEA!! (Dark Ones series, newest book coming out is Crouching Vampire Hidden Fang)
My brain's a little fuzzy right now on coming up with names, but I second all nominations for Cat and Bones.

They can't can't seem to make up their minds whether they want to be together or not. She wants to be with other people as well as Quinn (b/c of the whole moon heat thing) and he doesn't want her to be with anyone else. I really enjoyed the series, I like the quirky characters and the chemistry between all of them. I haven't read the newest one yet, but hopefully it will be as good as the rest.
I'm having a little trouble with Keri Arthur as well. I have the newest book here to read, but I can't get myself to actually sit down and read it. I've heard some good and bad things about it, but I don't want to be upset by it. I will get to it eventually I guess

Yes your right about the last book, but in the frist few they can't seem to make up their minds. I think that makes it more interesting, keeps you going wondering if they are going to get together or not. But eventually it does get old and you just want them to get together already. I haven't read the newest one yet, I'm excited to see if they stay together or if she strays again.
I've gotta say I LOVE Mercy and Adam from the Mercedes Thompson series.
Cat and Bones from The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. Tops.
I would definitely nominate Cat and Bones, Sookie and Eric, Sookie and Bill, Mercy and Adam. I don't think anyone has mentioned Faythe and Marc from Rachel Vincent's pride series. They just seemed to a couple who can't stay away from each other no matter how hard they try.

What about Mercy and Stephen, there seemed to be some potential there? On the Briggs subject...I really liked Anna and Charles in her Alpha and Omega series.

Elena and Clay, defenitely! I loved how he waited for her on the porch everyday for a year. Theyre so sweet with each other.Besides that I only have couples who are technically not (yet) a couple: Cassie and Pritkin from the Cassie Palmer series, Dorina and Louis Cesare from the Dorina Basarab series (both Karen Chance) and ...Rachel and Trent, from The Hollows series. Dont hate me.

Hi everyone! This is a really good topic! I'm having a difficult time deciding..I really like Mercy and Adam and Quinnn and Riley. After reading "Deadly Desire" I can hardly wait for the next Riley Jenson novel "Bound to Shadows." There are a lot of the Dark Hunter couples I like but a few stick out Wulf and Cassandra "Kiss of the night" Wren and Maggie "Unleash the Night" and Bride and Vane "Night Play."
No Michelle me neither! The funny thing about Cassie and Pritkin: despite the fact that not much happens between them, they have the bigger fan('ship)base. (Kudos to Chance. Its a shame actually, that Chance isnt as widely read as a Patrica Briggs or a Kim Harrison.)
I think it's the info dump at the beginning of the first book that turns people off. So! Everyone! Read the Cassie Palmer series! It's the old "first novel" syndrome, but gets infinitely better 60 pages into book 1. And I totally want Pritkin to ravish me.That's my pitch for the day! :)
I totally second that! So: PEOPLE! Read the Cassie Palmer novels! You wont be disappointed. We can guarentee you. We'll all be fighting over Pritkin after you've all finished reading...

Ok seriously Ive read book one of The cassie Palmer series and Mircea is my fave. I also like Tomas I think book two will be my next read because I really need to find out why you guys love Pritkin.
Pritkin sort of grows on you, Jael. Book one has him just running around as a war mage, but book two gives him more personality.
I think my favorite at the moment is Marc and Faythe from the Shifter series.
Jael, I adore Mircea.He's seductive, suave, sexy. But after awhile, Pritkin just becomes this overheated, impulsive, daring creature that you really really want to have angry sex with.
Hahaha right on the button Michelle. Yeah Jael, just read book two. You ll start to like Pritkin more, get interested in him. Then in book three you ll totally love him, I can guarantee you. By book four you re just waiting for Cassie to come to her senses and choose Pritkin already!The energy between them is so nice. Eventhough almost nothing happens between them, theyre still endearing, cute and hot together.

I have almost gotten the Cassie Palmer books a bunch of times but never actually picked them up - all of this Pritkin talk has convinced me - I grabbed the first two on the way home form work today.
Kendra, just as a reminder, the first 60 or so pages of that first book can be a total info dump, but I promise it'll be worth it!Hope you like them!
The books just keep getting better and better. I wouldnt have gotten through the first part of book #1 if I hadnt read Midnight's Daughter before that (published between Cassie #3 Embrace the Nightand #4Curse the Dawn) and knew how wonderful Chance can write.The story has a really fast pace but combined with so much information (even during action scenes) it was just too much. But I must say, the book still was a fun read and you just get hooked on the characters. By book 2 youre into it, by book 3 your sold and by book 4 you just feel obliged to advertise the series like Michelle and I do ;)
Ooh, I didn't know this thread had turned into a Karen Chance/Cassie/Pritkin admiration society! I'd like to throw my hat in that ring.I was not overly impressed by book one and it took me a few months before I got around to reading book 2, and oh boy. Karen Chance really took the time between those books to learn from her mistakes and really refine her writing skills. Anything from book 1 that I had complaints about was fixed in book 2 and all of a sudden you could see what a great writer she really is.
Unlike everyone else, I was not sold on Mircea in book 1. I assumed he was her series love interest and that I would grow to like him better in subsequent books. But then she tossed Pritkin in the mix, and wow. I fell for Pritkin immediately at the beginning of book 2 when he was getting that tattoo and Cassie began to take notice.
So yes. If you haven't read this series, do it now and if you stopped after book 1, GO GET THE REST!
It's like Adrian Pheonix all over again. We're such pushers. As an added incentive, it also has it all: action, suspense, politics, romance, and a very healthy dose of humor which comes across as very natural.

Mel, have you read the Adrian Phoenix books yet? If not, you HAVE to. They're absolutley nothing like Karen Chance's books, but they're fantastic.

Of course, Dante and Heather from Adrian Phoenix's Maker's Song books. And Cat and Bones from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress books. And I just finished Caressed by Ice by Nalini Singh and really loved Judd and Brenna. Brenna was one of the more likeable PNR heroines I've read in a long time.
I hate to say that I am about 1/3 through the second Kate Daniels books and was bored stiff so I shelved it. I wish I could join in the Kate and Curran love, but alas...
Oh, and of course, Cassie and Pritkin, although they're not really a couple. (I really hope that sentence turns out to end in a "yet".)

Last night as I walked my dogs I got to thinking about all of the couples I have read about in PNR which then got me thinking about who is my favorite couple. I think mine are Clay and Elena from Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series and Bones and Cat from Jeaniene Frost series.
